Everyone is already talking about how excited they are for Peeps and Cadbury Cream Eggs.  My confession is that I think both of these candies are super gross.  I also agree that they completely mess up reese's and snickers like candies when they play with the shape.....a reese's egg does not taste like a cup.

Yeah, I don't like Reese's eggs (for the same reason) and I can only eat one Cadbury egg before feeling like it's too much.

But Peeps? Yeah... Agree to disagree!

I totally agree with the first part of your post... and I don't like Snickers, but I will go to the grave defending that Reese's eggs/Christmas trees/pumpkins etc. are the best!!

Maybe it's just because they're so much bigger... ;;)

I agree with both of those statements. I'd like to add to my list that jelly beans are disgusting as are those robin egg whopper things. I hate things that make my teeth feel weird.

I am totally with you. Peeps are gross. Cadbury eggs make me gag. Reese's eggs totally f-up the chocolate-PB ratio. The only acceptable size for a Reese's candy are the small cups. I don't mind the snickers eggs though.

I worked at a barn where one of the boarders hated peeps, but found out her horse loved them, so she would get them for him every year. I too think they are nasty, but love me some holiday Reese's.

Honestly, I don't like any Easter candy. It's all too cloyingly sweet. 

The only good thing about Easter sweets is my mom's struffoli and lamb-shaped coconut cake.

I was so frustrated searching for these, and I could only find solids. So I started just pressing on them a but to find out what kind it was. Well when I found my hollow bunny, I took its eye out when I pressed down on it! I felt horrible, as if I had murdered a real rabbit! :'(

I also agree with the first half of your confession. Peeps and regular Cadbury eggs are gross. The caramel ones are pretty good though.

This. I can handle one cream egg and then it's gross. I could eat the caramel ones all day long, though!

a couple years ago i went through a breakup late february/early march & those mini cadbury eggs were my rebound.

Peeps were okay when they were Easter specific, but now you can get them at every holiday. And have you seen the Halloween cadburys? Gross. I don't eat snickers much, but I know when they play with Reese's shapes, they change the ration of chocolate and peanut butter. Go old school: it's the best.

I've seen those, but always assumed they were just smallish versions of the goo filled kind.

Easter goodies weren't even on my radar yet. Thanks ladies! Now I am going to be thinking about candy all over again, as if Halloween and Christmas weren't bad enough!

I love marshmallows, but Peeps taste nasty to me.

I can handle maybe a bite or two of the Cadbury Creme Egg, but that's it. Waaaaaaayy too sweet for me.

And you're totally right about Reese's. I only like the original and the mini (Halloween size), in the original shapes and flavors. They shouldn't mess with a good thing.

The cream eggs for me are a sign that I'm definitely a grownup (or just getting old).  I have a crazy sweet tooth and I love those weird little things, but they're so sugary they make my teeth hurt.  I guess I'll have to stick with the mini eggs.  Sacrifices.

Thank you!! I could eat a Peep if someone's life depended on it, but Cadbury eggs? I'm not so sure. It would depend if the ultimatum-giving murderer would disqualify me if I threw up after. What is that stuff inside? I don't even know what that is. Mmm..chocolate covered...ooze? Goo? Mutagen? 

I'm also with you on the misshapen candies. No. I don't want a Reese's Christmas tree..and I don't want a Reese's Easter egg, either. I also don't like the Reese's cups with the copious amount of peanut butter in the middle. You got it right the first time, Reese. Besides...I'm not a HUGE chocolate fan, but the chocolate of a Reese's cup is probably my favorite chocolate in the whole world. I don't want the chocolate to peanut butter ratio to change, please.

I only eat the miniature Cadbury eggs (solid chocolate, no nasty goo) and starburst jelly beans and the chocolate bunnies (hollow, solid or crisp I don't discriminate) but all other Easter candy can go away. Blech!

i don't know why, but the thought of a horse eating marshmallow peeps is pretty much the cutest thing i can imagine.

I LOVE Peeps (and marshmallowy goodies in general), but I don't like certain colored ones. I will only eat the yellow and pink Peeps. For some reason, the blue, green and purple ones taste off and leave a weird aftertaste.

Now, DH loves Cadburry eggs but I think they are disgustingly sweet and don't even care for the caramel filled. It may be in part due to the fact I'm not a milk chocolate fan. Now dark chocolate, on the other hand...

I completely agree about peeps and cadbury eggs!  Peeps are fun to blow up in the microwave though.  The only Easter candy I like are jelly beans and a really good chocolate bunny.

Reese's eggs are my FAVORITE.  I love the higher peanut butter:chocolate ratio.  I also like black jelly beans.  No other color--just the black ones.

Peeps are gross, my dad likes them stale...even grosser. I looove the Easter sweetarts tho. Blue and purple are my favorite...mmm. The only jelly beans that I cram down my throat are jelly belly's.

I am pretty sure I could eat my body weight in Peeps, but I only like them at Easter.

Cadbury Eggs make me want to hurl though.
