anyone else havig issues with severe dizziness and fainting? I woke up yesterday so dizzy I couldn't get out of bed and this morning I fainting in church. I've been eating good and drinkig water but it's still happening!
Do you maybe suffer from low blood sugar? I know it happened to me once when I went more than a few hours without eating. Not sure. Have you called your OB?
How much water are you drinking? I was experiencing wicked bad dizziness about a month ago and discussed it with my MW. I started drinking an additional 32oz of water a day (I drink about 3 liters now) and it went away. Definitely discuss it with your provider, but it may be something as simple as dehydration.
a few years ago this happened to me (vesa vegal episodes) from a poor low cal diet. once I got pregnant I changed diet completely and eat like I'm supposed to. I'm drinking about 5 glasses of water a day and cut down my coffee intake a lot. I see my dr for my 5 month appt on Friday so I didn't call today I suppose maybe i should.
Dizziness and feeling faint are normal in pregnancy but shouldn't be happening all the time. It sounds like either low blood sugar or low blood pressure.
I came thisclose to fainting towards the end of my hair appointment a week ago (I was in a friends' wedding). Sitting in that chair for an hour, not being able to eat or drink, plus hairspray fumes added up to a bad combination. I mentioned it to my doc at my recent appointment and she said to make sure to drink enough water, watch my posture (don't slouch when sitting as it restricts blood flow and try to keep legs elevated a bit), and stay in well ventilated areas. In my case, blood pressure was the issue.
If you're eating regularly and drinking lots of water but are still feeling like this, definitely talk to your doctor.
I has this with DD. I was told I was anemic after lots of trail runs with drinking more water and eating more protein. I started taking the iron and it helped a lot but once in a while I still got dizzy. but this time around I've been taking them since I found out I was pregnant and I haven't felt dizzy once.
