My never-ending quest to find a boy's name I love continues.
DH just suggested Donovan. I like it but I don't like Donnie. Van would be a cool nickname.
MN would be John. My fear is someone would start calling him Don John...
Thoughts?

I actually like Donovan and while I don't hate Van, it feels a little forced.  I would probably just plan to call him Donovan.

I love the name Donovan! If DH and I use it as a FN there will be no NN unless he wants to pick one as he grows up.

Donovan is going to be one of our boys names.
It's actually my husbands grandmothers maiden name & he told me years ago that he wanted to name his son that... It took a while but it grew on me.
Donovan Joseph will be his name
