We lost my recipe box when we moved. H thinks it was put in a donate pile on mistake. I had the only copy of my grandma's chocolate cobbler. I've contacted 15 cousins, all of my aunts and uncles (including great), they do not have it. I'm on the verge of tears. I just want my recipes! I wanted to make cobbler for a dinner party tonight.
Re: I hate losing things.
Oh no. I would be devastated if I lost all of my recipes, especially if they were irreplaceable family recipes. Can you get in touch with the place you donated it to?

My cousin has it on her hard drive that crashed. My only hope is her dad. She thinks he has it.
Is there any chance its buried in storage/boxes somewhere? Like PP said, perhaps you could try writing down as much as you remember, and then look at other recipes to fill in the blanks? I know it's not the same though
Best of luck finding it! I really hope it's just buried somewhere and you stumble across it.
I just paged my uncke's ex wife on FB. I hope she has it.
Hahaha!! That's ok though, it's still her recipe that she made for you right? That's what makes it special
It's great you managed to get another copy!
Well at least it's a good recipe! Hold on to that, hahaha.
