My pediatrician just suggested I give pedialyte to my 7 week old. Anyone else experience this?
(Background- I called her ped because she started projectile vomiting around the same time every morning. Past 5 days. Goes to burp and there is comes. Long story short it's not anything I've eaten or drank. It's not spit up. And it's not always after the first morning feeding. She's happy before & after and won't eat anymore after. Plays. Sleeps until her next feeding 3 hours later.)

Re: Pedialyte
She sleeps through the night. I almost thought maybe she was "over eating" in the morning. Nurse doesn't think I should wake her up to feed in the middle of the night. She thinks I should express an ounce or so from each side and not let her eat long for those first two feedings. (I can pump usually 8 oz's after her feeding in the morning) So she's wondering if she's just getting too much maybe?? Sometimes she has her first feeding in and then does it. Sometimes she has her second feeding in and does it. So I guess tomorrow morning I'll only let her eat not too much. The rest of the day she's perfectly fine. She increases her intake (per oz) during the day. Little in the morning & more towards night.
