which trimester am I?

Hi ladies,

I\m 12W6D today and my doctor said you are not in your second T until you get to 13W6D gastation so in a week from now but the tickers from this website are already counting me as in being in my second T. My mother also thinks I should be in my second already. What do your doctors put you at? at which day are you done with 1st T and into 2nd T?

I think am gonna milk the first T haha, my husband was watching the video on baby center yesterday about 2nd T and heard them say "women generally feel their best during this stage of their pregnancy" so yeah...gonna milk it for as long as I can

I decided my 2nd tri was at 14 weeks.  I just felt better waiting especially since I mmc at 11 1/2 weeks in Feb.

According to What to Expect when you're expecting the 14th week, or start of the 4th month is the beginning of the 2nd trimester. Each trimester has 3 months in it, equaling 9 months. 40 weeks long, is accounting for some months that are 5 weeks long but I've heard some people think they're pregnant for 10 months not 9. But if you count 3 trimesters it's 9 months with some months 5 weeks long.
