OT Little Man is 1!

Cade turned 1 yesterday. I'm a little sad as he more than likely is my last. We had a quiet day for him. He and Rosie went to MILs to play while I ran errands. I got 85% of his party taken care of. Then we had a nice dinner of potato soup as its his favorite. We are putting his present together today. Which is those cardboard blocks. I also gave him his first sippy of goats milk. I think he likes it. Well, it's bittersweet, but bring on toddlerdom!

Oh, and I took my final placenta pill yesterday. No more happy pills for me.

Happy Birthday, Cade! I was so nostalgic when DS turned one, but honestly I like him much more as a toddler than I did as an infant. (That probably sounds horrible of me, but it's true.) He's so much fun now and has such personality!

BTW, I thought for a moment that you meant the goat milk was bittersweet. Gah! I miss my brain.

Happy birthday little man! And congrats mama. I agree with @unaveragejane. While I miss my baby in a way, she just gets cooler and cooler as she gets older. It's so fun to watch her learn and grow.
Here's to another great year! (I didn't realize he was born on 1/1, what a fun bday! It's my grandparents anniversary too. It's a date you never forget. )

He was born on 12/31 not 1/1. I was too busy yesterday to post :P.
