So this morning I awoke to my mom calling letting me know my Uncle passed away last night unexpectedly. My parents live in Anchorage Alaska and the majority of my Dad's family is a few hours outside of Phoenix Arizona. My parents want to fly here to Los Angeles where I live, and then we could drive to Arizona together. I'm going to call my doctor to get approval but wondered if any of you had restrictions on traveling? I am 36 weeks on Thursday. My doctors office is on lunch break for a few hours so I figured I'd ask you ladies.
Thanks!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I think it depends in how your particular pregnancy is going as far as restrictions so definitely see what your OB says. I am a planner so I would probably want to make sure have all numbers I need and know where local hospitals are just in case.
Yes, It depends how high risk you are. I am not allowed to be 15 minutes away from the hospital at this point in time, I am 37 weeks. Sorry for your loss!
I am so sorry for your loss. I traveled 6 hours by car at 36 weeks. I was just told to drink plenty of water, stop every hour or two to walk around, and put my feet up in the car if I could. I took my snoogle in the car with me and was actually pretty comfortable. GL.
