This is all over Facebook today. Makes me feel a little insensitive but I just think blah blah I'm over the miracle of life thing. It shows how shallow our world is that we have to have blogs like this circulate social media to remind us what is perfectly natural and what humans (and animals) have been doing since the beginning of time. But now we have to glorify it just to excuse how our bodies change.
@MrsHetzel I feel the same way. Sure, I had two babies, but it doesn't make me feel any better about looking dumpy.
I am so tired of flipping self affirming douchebaggery. Maybe it's because I'm not an emotional or empathetic person. Maybe it's because I'm over tired dealing with two kids and a dog that has to take a cocktail of drugs, all at varying dosage intervals.
Get over the affirmations and just live with what you've got, or change it if you don't like it. What a ridiculous part of our first world society.
I dunno, I liked it.. just put my issues with my body into perspective. Could also be because I've only recently been able to really enjoy the whole miracle of life stuff since I'm not depressed out of my mind all the time.
Re: Reminds me not to stress about my stretch marks...
And if you couldn't tell, I'm grumpy today ;-)
Monster Truck (It's a GIRL!) is due 19/02/2015!
