I have been wavering on introducing here but this morning we saw our little bean and a heartbeat and so I decided it is time. I'm 6 weeks pregnant with what would be our first rainbow baby.
While I was not on TTCAL for long my journey has been a long and painful one and my heart goes out to those still traveling their own roads. To all of the lovely, wonderful amazing women on the TTCAL board I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support, encouragement and strength. You are all inspirational. I will deeply miss many of you lovely ladies.
I was surprised by my BFP, for a long list of private reasons I didn't POAS until quite late (which makes me a horrible TTCer, I know) I really didn't think it was a possibility this month. I'm glad I was wrong.
My poor husband made the joke "Yay, no more PMS-y [my first name]!" Then he realized he's in for 9 months of PGAL brain and hormones and looked like a deer in headlights! Poor guy.
Congratulations to all of the other ladies here on this board. May we all bring home our happy, healthy babies!

ETA so like many other TTCAL ladies I was very hurt by your cruel & disrespectful actions. However I'm more hurt by your disregard of our feelings and lack of acknowledgement & apology. Not cool.
ETA: I agree with all of the posts later in this thread. Posting on TTCAL with a concealed BFP is so hurtful. Please apologize. You had to have known while you were waiting for an ultrasound at the very least. I still wish you the best, but I truly believe a sincere apology is warranted.

Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC! Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case. Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal. Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities. Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

@p3ngu1nn I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you tested really late and did not realize you were KU. However, you posted an intro on PgAL than responded in threads on TTCAL?!? I am so confused by this behavior.
I was surprised to find your intro this morning (with a heartbeat no less) because I remember your re-intro on TTCAL about a week ago. If you have not realized it already, you hurt a lot of ladies on TTCAL. Can you see how TTCAL ladies feel betrayed? TTCAL offered you support and sympathy when you had already achieved what every single one of them are hoping for.
Regardless, I do wish you the best and hope you have a healthy 9 mos.

PgAL and PAL always welcome...That said, I agree with so many of the people here that you have done a real disservice to the women of TTCAL. I get that TTCAL is an amazing and safe place that is difficult to leave--particularly when you are scared out of your mind with a BFP after loss, but leave you must. To stay on TTCAL with a hidden BFP (whether out of fear or confusion or something else) is perceived as disrespectful and deceitful to the women that have supported you and cheered for you. I don't think that was your intent, but it is how it is perceived and felt. I won't beat a dead horse and continue to rehash what others have said, but you do owe TTCAL an apology and soon. I hope you do so, both for the sake of the community, as well as for the relationships you hope to form here. Please take some time to really think about it.
