Happy New Year ladies!!!! It's 1am on New Years Day in Austalia Goodbye 2013 and finger crossed that 2014 will be a great year for all of us. No changes yet. Finish BCP tomorrow and go in for bloods on the 8th. Will continue Synarel nasal spray until then.
QOTD: I make so many plans that my New Years resolution is ironically to not have any resolutions. I'm going to go with the flow more this year and see where it takes me x

Hi ladies! Happy New Year @ttc23! I am SO ready for this year to be over!
Still on BCP and Lupron. I had a scare last night when I realized I had taken 4 sugar pills of BCP (no wonder I was spotting). I'm an idiot, I know. I just completely spaced it and kept taking the pack rather than skipping the last week. I got a call from my doctor (who sounded pretty annoyed that I had called the emergency line) and he said it should be fine. I stop them on Friday. I figured he would make me take them a little longer, or at least double up on one, but nope.

QOTD: No major resolutions. I do want to try and think more positively this year. All this fertility stuff has really made me a negative person.and I know I'm probably no fun to be around at times.

I spoke to the research team yesterday and got lots of updates.
I take my last birth control pill on Sunday the 5th and I start stims on Thursday the 9th. I was also informed that due to a grant I will receive free bravelle and menopur. I will still be responsible for my trigger and ganirelix and all the FET meds. This is a huge relief since we have no IVF coverage. I am waiting for a call to pick up my meds and to schedule delivery for the ones I need to order. I am very overwhelmed, excited and nervous about this all starting.

Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope January is the start of a great year for all of you.

It looks like I'll be leaving you Snowdrops.  AF finally arrived today, which means even if we started BCP, I still probably wouldn't make it to FET before January was over.  In addition, I started a new job in December, which means I have no leave time yet.  I'm thinking February or March is more realistic for us.

I am still on lupron....waiting for AF sometime this weekend according to their timeline.  Then I call in to the RE office and wait for instructions.  I will be on the long lupron protocol this time so this is new to me.  I have had night sweats and woken up a few times each night....keeping a towel on my pillow and bed seems to helping. I hate then being cold, waking my husband to strip the bed, and trying to get back to sleep.  One of my legs is a little tight in the calf area...not sure if it's the lupron or just lack of exercise.  

As for new year's resolutions....I want to be positive, make plans more easily, and forgive myself for not being able to accomplish all that I expect of myself each day.  IF has taken energy from me I do my best each day....if all the laundry doesn't get done....oh well!

Well I just had a lining check and I am at 9.85 (they wanted it over an 8) so transfer is a GO!! Yay. My RE is not available till the 10th but they scheduled me with a different RE for the 7th! So I'm officially one week away. I start Pio on the 2nd! Wow.

Qotd: I have too many!
1. Vegan for at least 2 weeks to start the year
2. Count calories and hopefully lose about 20 lbs.
3. Be more decisive. DH hates when he asks for my opinion and I say "I don't care" so I am going to start having an opinion. I told him to be careful what he asks for.
4. To be a better manager to my team at work, try and connect with them more on a personal level and not just professionally.

I'm just continuing along on the estradiol and waiting for AF who should really be getting here ANY TIME NOW!!!  So funny how you spend so much time not wanting her to show up and now I can't wait. Just really anxious if you can't tell

QOTD: I don't really make new years resolution...I think I'm afraid it's a jinx or something since so many fail and I often did fail when I tried. That is how I ended up quitting smoking on January 6th one year...I was actually afraid to do it on the 1st and then have a failed resolution...but still smoke free today  maybe I'll make a resolution on the 6th

Hi ladies! Happy New Year to everyone! Wishing 2014 brings us all bundles of joy!

I had my baseline monitoring today. I had 6 follies on one side and 10 on the other. I have to say I was hoping for a few more since I know there are so many times during the cycle where the number decreases. As long as my bloodwork comes back fine, I will be starting stims tonight. I'm excited to get the process underway.

QOTD: I'm going to try to live life a little fuller. I missed out on a lot of fun in 2013 because I kept thinking I would be pregnant and not be able to participate so I just declined plans. Hopefully, I am in 2014 but I can't let it consume my life anymore.

Hello, ladies! I started my Lupron injections on the 26th and take my last BCP on the 1st. I have been bleeding for over two weeks so my RE office scheduled my baseline for Monday the 6th. I have been dealing with insomnia since starting Lupron, but I guess that's ok for tonight being that it's NYE, lol. I am so ready for 2013 to be over it has been one of the worst years of my life, hoping for a new start in 2014, hopefully with a successful IVF.

QOTD: I have a few that I have already started on:
-eating healthier
-drink more water, no more soda (been soda free for over a month now!)
-take daily walks
-read the Bible daily

I have my mock transfer on Monday then wait for AF to show up the next week to start meds...

1. Health ( lose weight, cut out all processed foods etc...)
2. Learn ( my spanish needs some work and I want to learn some new cooking techniques, I am also working on our family tree)
3. Projects ( organize my new house, start a family cookbook)
4. Meet new couple friends with DH

I am still cruising along on BCPs, but IVF #3 officially starts tomorrow with my first Lupron shot and my first dose of dexamethasone. I still need to schedule my delivery for the rest of my meds which I plan on doing between now and Monday.

QOTD:  No real resolution, but I am trying to start walking on our treadmill.  I've gained a lot of weight with IVF #1 and 2 and I am trying to avoid it this time around.

Had my baseline appointment yesterday, so I start stims Thursday. Meds also arrived yesterday and compared to IUI, there are so many of them!

Hi ladies.  Tonight is my third night of stims.  I don't really know what I'm supposed to be feeling at this point.  Can any of you give me some ideas as to what to expect during the stims phase?  I keep paying attention to my body but I don't seem to notice anything different.  I go in for monitoring on Thursday so I guess I will see what's going on that point.  I'm praying they will see some response to all of this.

QOTW:  I honestly haven't made any definitive new years resolutions yet.  There are a lot rolling around in my head but I just haven't set anything yet.  I'll have to think about it for the rest of the day lol.

@Love4Labs326 the only things I have really felt during stims was mild headaches. I did have monstrous zits though too...loved those  But otherwise I didn't feel much. A little discomfort and fullness towards the end of stimming...but I had a lot of follicles. So I wouldn't worry about not feeling anything.

Well my body is trying to get a period through BCP it's annoying!!! I am stressing because I havnt received my depot lupron shot from the UK and I'm suppost to take it on Thursday. I tracked it and it's in NY. I hope it can get here in time!!!! Also sat I go and have my intralipid infusion. Gotta love those!!
Me and hubbs are curled up on the couch and have three hours till New Year's Day! Im ready for 2014! Let's hope it's good to us all!!!

Did my first lupron for our FET last night. No big deal and didn't seem any different from the microdose lupron, except that I only used 5 units last night and it wasn't cold from being in my fridge. I start estrogen patches today and continue those for two weeks. Then Lining check on the 14th, and frozen transfer about five days after that.

As for resolutions, I want to work on my marriage and bring the focus back to us. With all this focus on IVF and baby, I just want to reaffirm, I guess to him and to myself, that the person I committed to first before all this baby stuff is my husband. I want to make sure he realizes that.

I did not feel any side effects on stims. As a matter of fact I felt great. My ibs almost completely went away. Right before my er I was a little bloated. I had 24 eggs, so I wouldn't worry about a lack of symptoms.

Hi ladies! After AF came, I'm finally starting Lupron on 1/9. I'm pretty sure this will push me to February, but I'll know officially in a few weeks. 

My new year's resolutions are to cook more at home and to be less IF-obsessed. I feel like in 2013 IF was my main conversation topic with friends and inside my head, and I'm planning to reassure myself that there is more to me than just IF!
