I have taken three pregnancy test all of which have been positive (I go to the doctor 12/31 to make sure that I am). I have taken a few of the first response and I finally also tried the Clear Blue digital which said I was 2-3 weeks. I finally broke down to take one because I have been cramping, so I assumed it was period cramps, only for it to be like this for a few weeks with no period ever coming. I have hardly had any symptoms it seems like your supposed to have, which I know everyone is different. It just makes me nervous because this if my first pregnancy if confirmed. I have cramps which last like 2 minutes then go away and sometimes it just like pressure in waves, I get hungry at VERY awkward times (like 2 am wake up starving or right after I ate), my breast haven't really been sore but every once in a while I will feel like they have a bunch of pressure on them but it doesn't last long, I do feel nauseous when I lay down at night but never in the morning, and I really haven't felt like I urinate more often because even before now it seemed like I urinated a lot!
I agree, this is my first too so it just makes me little nervous. And reading just how many people on here have had miscarriages breaks my heart and makes me so nervous!
Sounds just like me. Very mild symptoms that now have almost disappeared completely. All really had was mild cramps for a few weeks. Mild nausea off and on. Never vomited. And tender breasts!! Enjoy others are not so lucky. This is also my first so I understand your concern. I had many of those moments also!!
Besides a missed period, there aren't any symptoms that you "should" have.... like you even said, everyone's different.. some women have a million symptoms, others have one.
My first pregnancy I only had a few symptoms and this time around I have a dozen more. EVERY pregnancy is different... which means any other woman's experience doesn't apply to you.. if you're that concerned call your doctor.
So...I sort of hate you a little bit right now. ;-)
I didn't feel nauseous right away, but my breasts were tender and I was absolutely exhausted. Now I am sick to my stomach all the time. I would say to absolutely enjoy it while you can because if you do start getting more symptoms they might stick around for a while and they suck!
I had zero symptoms and it terrified me. Turns out, we are having a [so far] perfect baby girl. Enjoy it while it lasts because symptoms will come!
I had no morning sickness, fatigue, sore boobs, or any other "typical" pregnancy symptoms except a missed period.
Now my back hurts like a mother, I live in the bathroom, pee my pants almost every time I sneeze (which is a lot because I have horrific allergies all year long), and am getting that oh so attractive linea nigra from my vagina up to my belly button. And I'm only at the half-way mark. So again, consider yourself lucky and enjoy your pregnancy
Oh no, thank you ladies for all of your input! Most i've noticed is how tired I am all time, like right now, i could fall on my face! Lol. I definitely have that feeling my morning sickness is coming or my all day sickness. I get really nauseous at night when i lay down in bed! Also I feel like i'm about to fall out of my bra, couldn't wait to take it off today, it felt like it was cutting my circulation off all day at work!
I'm in the same boat. I'm just 7 weeks today and have had very mild, if any, symptoms. This is my first, but I did have a miscarriage at 7w4d in Oct. Last time, I didn't have any symptoms at all after week 5, except for maybe a few pimples. I found out later that the reason I didn't was because the pregnancy wasn't progressing as it should past the 5w point. Now that I'm at 7w I'm a nervous wreck! I don't go to the dr until next week! I'm trying to remain calm and remind myself that as far as we can tell, I don't have any reason to m/c again, it was just one of those unfortunate things. I am feeling different that I did last time, a little quesy when my stomach is empty (which feels like its empty ALL THE TIME!), tired, just kind of not myself. But then I wonder if I'm making up these "symptoms" in my head because in my crazy mind right now, having these symptoms means that everythig is progressing as it should be. Even though, in my logical mind, I do know that pregnancy symptoms aren't an indicator of any thing either way.
ugh. Its rough. I'm hoping that as the weeks go by, I'll be less and less nervous about this. Good luck to you!
I'm the same way! The only symptom is minor breast tenderness. My husband was beginning to doubt my pregnancy because I keep telling him I don't feel anything. Luckily we've already had our first ultrasound and sure enough we got a bun in the oven :-). Let's just enjoy!
Re: First pregnancy- Hardly any symptoms- is this a problem?
