If you've ever been overdue

Besides the fact that my mind is going crazy, I actually feel 100x better from EDD until now than I did weeks 32-40. Anyone else?

Maybe it's because I haven't had to work (I am bored though)? I'm sleeping much better, less heartburn, and coping with contractions is easier. Don't get me wrong, I'm overdue and certainly feeling it but it's easier for some reason.

Re: If you've ever been overdue

  • Not overdue yet, but once I started maternity leave I felt 100x better too! My last day of work was the 13th, and I do get a little bored, but I remind myself my days of lying around doing nothing are numbered, and so I better enjoy it.

  • Today is my due date and I certainly noticed a difference today. I was walking around with no aches and pains and there was a few times today where I hardly even felt pregnant - it's been very bizarre. With DD I was 2 days early so this is all new.

  • I'm 4 days past EDD but agree that ever since I stopped working, 2 weeks ago I feel so SO much better! Starting to get bored, sleeping so much but also agree that I won't be able to sleep like this in the near future, so taking full advantage of it.
  • I had the baby early in the morning at 9 weeks overdue and I remember that last week being pretty brutal. At 5 days past due, I think my pelvis felt like it split apart though, so that really sucked...Hopefully you'll go into labor soon! When it happened for me, it went really fast at least.
