My college roommate (who lives in FL) is staying over wth her new boyfriend (ooooooooooh!) tonight! I live in NJ so we don't see each other often. I'm so excited!
Plus I really want to meet this guy. She never dates anyone (independent and quite picky - rightfully so) and she seems smitten!
We'll go to dinner at the restaurant of her choice (since she always talks about missing NJ food) and then just hang!

But before that I have to clean my house. Boo. And my car, so I can convince my husband to start driving it Monday.

We are supposed to be having Christmas with my dad's family today. However, I got a call from my sister last night that her perpetually sick kids (who we spent Christmas with) have hand, foot and mouth disease. So, my DD was exposed too. Woohoo. She also got an awful cold from them at thanksgiving.

She seemed fine last night but she woke up a ton in the night and was up for the day at 4:44. I don't see any blisters on her hands or feet, but one bite of breakfast caused a massive crying fit. She won't let me anywhere near her mouth so I can't tell if there are blisters there or if she was just having a fit because she's exhausted.

Anyway, there will be several other kids at the family christmas so I don't want to bring her and expose all of them too. Long story short, I guess we don't have any plans

Last night we went out to dinner with a group of friends and their kids. It was fun. Today, I am doing laundry and taking down some Christmas decor. Tonight, my brother invited us over to watch the UFC fights so we will probably go there. Tomorrow we are having crockpot chili and watching football. Go Bengals!!!

Today will be the typical weekend chores- cleaning and grocery shopping! My sister is coming in from Cali with her family tomorrow. We will be watching Sunday night football- go Eagles!

We finalized our Babysrus registry last night, and will finalize our buybuybaby one tonight, family and friends keep asking if they are ready and I keep delaying because well, I added a bunch of stuff without checking with DH when we found out she was a girl and I want to make sure he has a chance to veto/add some things he likes/thinks we need, too. Then, I have breakfast with a close friend who lives out of town and we have our annual holiday party where the rest of our family will be able to learn that we are having a little girl! (not doing anything too special, since half the members of the family know from christmas ). I plan on making some christmas themed cookies and decorate them specifically with pink, purple, gold, etc so that they have somewhat of a color theme. I'll leave out all blues and greens. Most of them will get the idea. My grandpa will also probably wear his hat, which will get the message across.

Last night we had dinner with my grandma (dad's mom), today we have my other grandma's Christmas lunch at 2 and not sure what we'll do on Sunday. DH has all of next week off too and at some point I want to go to the apple store so I can get my new iPad.

I have to work today and its really slow so far. Well, lots of tiny wrist operations from the big ice storm everyone falling etc. But that's boring.

After work I plan on hitting up Starbucks, maybe grab a pizza or burrito (I can't decide which!!) And plop down on the couch for the rest of the evening watching Netflix by myself lol. I have a sad life lol! Most of my friends get their step kids on the weekends so its never very social for me.

No plans yet tomorrow either. Ill probably do laundry and bath my cats.

After about three months of living with my parents while closing/preparing our new house... We're moving everything in this weekend! Well almost everything. I don't even remember what it was like to live with just the four of us rather than 8!

We're hemmoraging money this weekend...again.

Need to buy my husband a car today. I was sooooo close to getting him to seal the deal on a sensible, family & budget friendly Nissan Murano yesterday...and then he test drove the Cadillac. I've never seen him so over the moon about anything. I guess we're buying the Cadillac. Womp womp.

We also need to buy our crib this weekend since Cribs to College is having a 50% off sale. Just need to pick one.

Yesterday I meant to clean the house but only got the kitchen counters and toilets, due to the fact that we went to Best Buy at 11:30am to bring DH's super noisey laptop into Geek Squad. Srsly, this thing made a noise like a jet engine, and was causing some arguments as DH is an avid gamer. The guy there tried to take a look at it and clean it and ended up breaking it and so we were there until 2:45pm while we waited and then DH had to pick out a new laptop.

So today I need to clean the house and do some laundry, and water the garden (I'm in San Francisco and it's been in the high 60s all week). We also need to go to Lowes to pick out shelves for our garage storage project that will empty the room out that will become the nursery. Phew! I feel tired just writing about it. Lowes might happen tomorrow. I also want to move some stuff down from the nursery to the garage after we have the shelving.

Sunday night we have dinner plans with some friends of ours who just started dating. Should be fun and will be nice to get out of the house by then and be social.

So far we have got a lot done today!  When I say we, I mean my DH and my dad.  My parents came over to help do some repairs/projects.  I don't know if any of you remember, but the day I got my BFP (also my birthday and first home football game/tailgate), our pine straw caught on fire and melted the siding of our house.  Well, we just got around to fixing it today. My dad and DH did that while my mom and I went and looked at cribs.  There are just so many to choose from and I can't make up my mind.  Then, my DH and dad installed a new dishwasher that we got for Christmas.  Tonight, my DH is going to a friends house to watch the Phish webcast at Madison Square Garden, and I'm going to a friends b-day party.  Tomorrow we will have lunch with my parents and I will decide once and for all on the crib!  I have all next week off too, so it's pretty awesome!

Laundry, cleaning and playing at the park pretty much made up my morning and afternoon. Tonight should be fun though. We are having some friends over to break-in DH's new fire pit and have s'mores. We will probably end up playing cards after. Sunday will just be a lazy day. Church, lunch with the ILs and then probably a nap

We had friends visit from OOT yesterday/today. We've done nothing since they left. Might watch hockey tonight, and then football tomorrow. We will avoid going anywhere at all costs.

A nice low key weekend so far. Today we did a little shopping for some family that we will see next weekend for a late Christmas. I drug DH to BRU this morning to look at baby stuff. We haven't registered for anything yet and while I don't anticipate a shower, we at least want to have a wish list for family members who feel they need to buy us something. Anyhoo...after DH became super bitchy about dealing with people in stores we came home. Tonight is UFC fight and tomorrow will be another lazy day. I may start cleaning out the guest room that will be the nursery. Love weekends like this where we don't have a crazy amount of things to do.
