Guys, the saddest thing happened on Christmas Eve....on the walk home from the subway station after church, I lost LO's Elmo doll. It was a gift from my mother for his birthday, and he loved it- he would sleep with it, and hug it, and ask for it if Elmo was in the crib and he wanted him to come out. I don't know where it happened, I was totally frazzled because it was after bedtime and the ride home took SO long; I know at one point LO was running by the stroller and I put Elmo in the seat; then when I put LO in the stroller I moved Elmo into my bag that was strapped behind my back, and I guess he fell out DH went out to look for him that night, and walked the path I took on the way to church the next morning to see if he could find him....no dice. We were both so sad, thinking of Elmo all alone in the cold. We already have a new one coming on Amazon, but it won't quite be the same
Oh no! Emma's favorite stuffed animal was a gift from her godparents in her Easter basket- a $5 stuffed kitty from Target. Of course it's seasonal so quantities were limited and not being sold anymore. I'm dreading ever losing it so I'm kind of tempted to buy the overpriced $30 one on eBay lol.
Sad! Hope Elmo found another home that loves him as much. I dread this happening to us, we have one doll that is Charlie's favorite and there aren't any like it anywhere else to be found. Scary!
Even a minor event in
the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world
event.
Oh that's sad! we lost Ava's lovey blanket once ( our sitter took it into the backyard and left it out there). It took a couple days to find it and I think I was more upset than Ava was.
that happened to us. Lilahs fav kitty jumped out of the stroller. 10 minutes later we searched where we walked and couldnt find him. i was devastated I prayed he found a fun home..
