Guys, the saddest thing happened on Christmas Eve....on the walk home from the subway station after church, I lost LO's Elmo doll. It was a gift from my mother for his birthday, and he loved it- he would sleep with it, and hug it, and ask for it if Elmo was in the crib and he wanted him to come out. I don't know where it happened, I was totally frazzled because it was after bedtime and the ride home took SO long; I know at one point LO was running by the stroller and I put Elmo in the seat; then when I put LO in the stroller I moved Elmo into my bag that was strapped behind my back, and I guess he fell out 
DH went out to look for him that night, and walked the path I took on the way to church the next morning to see if he could find him....no dice. We were both so sad, thinking of Elmo all alone in the cold. We already have a new one coming on Amazon, but it won't quite be the same
