Intro- Finally

Well after weeks of lurking and babbling on this board, I figured I should do an official intro since I have seen numerous ones and have yet to do it.

This babe is number 3 for me but 1 for the Hubs and a big surprise for both of us as we weren't even settled on trying again after previous surprise that unfortunately was lost in June.  I already have a soon to be 14 year old daughter and 17 year old son, so this babe is exciting and also nerve wracking all at the same time. It is very weird to be getting my oldest ready to graduate in May and preparing to deliver in early June.  They are both excited nonetheless.

I work full time, recently went back to school to finish a degree, and am president of a volunteer emergency response group for my local metro area, mom to two teens and 3 dogs and an army wife as well. Life is organized chaos most of the time.

We are currently located smack in the middle of the country in Omaha, NE so for any other midwest peeps out there- Go 'Skers!!

And to avoid having this carry on and on, I'll end it there. If you want to know anything else, just ask ;-)

I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you ladies!

Hello from a fellow Omahan! Looks like we have the same due date. :-) What hospital are you planning to deliver at? I'm delivering at UNMC (close to my house and I'm seeing the mid-wives at the Olson Center.) I'm also finishing my degree right now (Bellevue U.) I'll be done at the end of March. Congrats to you on finishing your degree. Stay warm! :-)

@melody7878 I will be delivering at Lakeside, closer to our home. The Hubs is transferring to Bellevue in March. He just finished his Associates at Metro and is doing the Bachelors cohort program at Bellevue.

Lakeside is such a nice hospital! My grandma has spent a lot of time there for various ailments (she's 95!) so I've spent a lot of time there as well. I hope your hubby likes Bellevue. I also did the cohort program and am finishing the Kirkpatrick Signature Series right now. The cohort program flew by for me.
