AW: NT Scan

Hello ladies. So I had my NT scan today and everything looked great! The. The perinatologist kept looking between the legs from several angles and taking measurements. She then looked at me and said, well I am fairly certain this will be a boy....but don't paint the nursery just yet :). I am very excited the baby is healthy! I posted this on my bmb and they think I am an idiot...fine whatever but I am still happy (next appt is February 4, I will start buying clothes after that lol).

    ETA: I just read your thread on your other BMB. Tough crowd! Obviously you know it isn't set in stone but I totally get you being excited to see a healthy (probably) boy in there!
    Yes that bmb is full of a tough crowd. I honestly think I am pretty done posting on there. I miss you ladies, you are/were wonderful!! Thank you all for the kind words :). I am THRILLED the baby looked healthy :). Let's home all my blood work comes back the same :)

    Seriously awesome! I've heard of lots of doctors getting it right at the NT scan, maybe it's just luck or maybe a highly skilled eye but it happens. Congratulations & happy holidays!

    I'm also in that BMB group and they do seem to be a bit snarky. I think they were just freaking out cause that was like the 3rd all in the same day. I dunno, I just let most things roll off me. Glad baby looks good.

    Yes they are quite snarky on that board and the June board too (June is not quite as bad). I seriously think I am pretty done with the July board.

    Congratulations! I'm also on the August 2014 BMB and it is scary sometimes too. Jan 2013 ladies are the best.

    Holy cow, i just popped over to take a peak at the snark (slow day here), and wow. Just wow. FWIW that is very, very exciting that LO is healthy and a maybe boy. Congrats!! Obviously those ladies don't know how to manage their darn hormones.. That is ridiculous.

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    A/S findings: Baby is a girl! EIF found on heart :( but maternit21 came back neg for chromosome disorders!!

    Congrats! And sheesh on your bmb. I agree it's the reason I lurked more than posted early on because of the meanies ;) I think the postnatal bmb's have been awesome and you know we are all here for you!!
