Buying preloved diapers

I'm still filling out my newborn stash (and I can't stop buying fluff). Most of my stuff I got new but I'm looking at a few preloved simplex right now. I know I need to strip and bleach them before use but will they work the same? I have read a few horror stories about used diapers and I'm nervous. Do you buy used sometimes?

Just get the best idea of what you are getting before you buy. Simplex are natural fibers, so harder than most to screw up. Especially, after stripping them. Just check closures and the pul.

How do you check those when buying online? Just ask?

I ask how long a diaper was used and for how many children. I also like to ask why they've decided to sell it.
