Everything feels tight?

I feel like somebody stuck an air hose in my stomach. My stomach feels super stretched out and tight this morning. Any ideas? Is it gas? It feels better when I lean over. Anybody know what I can do to make it go away?

I was the same way when I woke up. I'm 23 weeks and change. I took a hot shower and (TMI) had a BM. Feeling much better now.

That's happened to me when I've had gas--I don't know that it's exactly what you're describing though, but my stomach gets very round and tight when I'm gassy. Basically I just have to wait for it to go away on its own, usually overnight.

I feel like this too. I'm 25w7d! I feel better when I fart, but not a whole lot better.

It's super uncomfortable it kept me up last night tossing and turning. Hopefully it passes soon, it's kind of making my back sore.

Could be braxton hicks if the tightness seems to come and go. If its a constant tight feeling than it very well may be that your belly is growing and it should loosen up in a day or so.

I was also going to say gas or Braxton Hicks. Does it come and go or is it constant? If it comes and goes I would lean towards BH. If it's constant, I agree with the other ladies, most likely gas.

Haha so I guess it's just gas. Good to know! And yeah, the back pain is almost worse. Hope all of you ladies feel better soon!!

I had this all day yesterday - a mixture of tight and full feelings. I also felt as though something was pushing out from inside. I assume it's baby growing and/or uterus stretching. Or practice contractions.

Oh, I feel like that when I have indigestion! It's terrible, I know. Going for a little walk, having some water, and stretching a bit seem to help.

I had this walking around Home Depot today. It wasn't BH, but I just felt like my belly was so full that I couldn't breathe in very well if that makes sense. It eventually passed. It happened a few weeks ago and my bump definitely grew within a few days so I wonder if it has anything to do with stretching?

When I have too much water I get a very heavy, tight belly. The discomfort lasts for about 2 hours and then calms down, and then I get thirsty and guzzle more water starting the discomfort all over again. Why do I punish myself???

@wifeofacomposer I think that very same thing every time I eat chips and salsa.

Maybe gas? After I eat my tummy gets like that until I burp about a million times.
