Ice storm

Anyone else without power? it's my husbands 30th b-day and his first one off in four years. I doubt we'll get it back before Christmas since nearly the whole mid and west part of our state is out. (Michigan) can I come live with a warmer-stated person?

We lost power around 3am but it came back on a little after 6. The lights are flickering so I wouldn't be surprised if it went out again. Branches and trees down everywhere, ugh.
Hope you can stay warm!

We got lucky in STL and only got very cold rain. I'd say come hang out with me, but 35° probably isn't what you're looking for. :-)

Also in Ontario and haven't lost it yet in my city. But a lot are out. I'm remaining thankful!

Same. About 15 mins outside of the city, they are without power but we're still good. We just got a lot rain and then everything froze overnight but we didn't get the freezing rain that was predicted.

I hope you get the power restored soon, those of you without it right now!

I slept with the windows open last night! It's about 82 degrees here today in SC!

Doesn't seem we have an ice storm in Minnesota, but it's definitely not 82 degrees. Super jealous! Our windchill is supposed to be -6 tonight.

It's pretty much a state of emergency here. They have no estimate for restoration and power lines keep going down due to the ice

We have been visiting DH's patents in Oklahoma this week & i experienced my first ice storm but we are currently on a plane back home to sunny south FL where its 80 degrees It was a nice little change but I'm excited to be going home!!!!

We got lucky, the ice storm only hit the northern part of the state. We have rain today, but most of it is staying south of us. It's 34 here right now.

It's crazy! We cleaned our backyard & opened all the windows! It's the nj twilight zone!

We are planning to head to my parents' the day after Christmas, but they're w/o power too.  All I want for Xmas is for Consumer's Power to restore their electricity!!!!

Definitely feeling for y'all dealing with the ice storms. Detroit Metro has only received rain/snow mixes, but our friends just 45 mins away are dealing with the power outage and ice. Hope you and family stay safe and that they are able to help y'all regain power sooner than later.

Yeah they're saying no power till the 28th. Which is horrible. So many people don't have generators and it's supposed to get down to 10 degrees tomorrow.
