Witnessed a car accident

So tonight I saw a pedestrian get hit by a truck. It was just terrible! I keep replaying the scene in my head and obsessively checking the news reports, in hopes that the guy pulls through. All I keep thinking is that's someone's son, and Christmas is 4 days away. Ugh!

My son is at my aunts for the night, and all I want to do is go get him and hold him tight! Not something I ever want to see/experience ever ever again.

I'm so sorry you saw that. I whitenessed a fatal accident involving a child and her mother several years ago and it was devastating. I still think about it.

ThIs happened to me last fri night. I haven't cried that hard for a very long time. I still think about it but it does get better with time.
