New Here, 5 wks and counting!

Hi All, I really hope I am posting this correctly and in the right spot. The Dh and I just found out I am pregnant and we are thrilled. Took us nearly 2 years to get here. I am feeling OK, no nausea or anything like that though I am experiencing the gnarliest heartburn EVER. Also getting some light cramping which my nurse best friend says is totally normal. I am looking for some ladies to bounce questions off of and help get me through these next months as I am feeling completely unprepared! LOL.

Congrats!!! I just turned 6 weeks today. Only had one blighted ovum prior. Not the experienced mommy you are asking for but I wanted to delight in your good news!!!

Make sure you lurk and get a feel for The Bump. There is a lot if information and support to be had here, but you must keep in mind that we are a very blunt group.

Thank you! I am not very computer savvy and I've only ever belonged to a cooking forum before. LOL. So I wanted to make sure I was posting in the right spot. You should hear the ladies at the cooking forum if I accidentally posted a dessert recipe in the BBQ section...total mayhem ;-)
