My brain keeps playing tricks on me

I keep thinking I feel little gushes or drips. I have this weird fear of leaking and not knowing my water broke. (Even though I know what it feels like, water broke with DS1). I'm also hyperaware of every little twinge in my body right now. I've been having these menstrual-like cramps for 2 days now. They aren't contractions and they aren't timeable, but I was so in tune with them last night I couldn't sleep, afraid I was in early labor. So annoying!!! I had to take a benadryl to fall asleep.

I hate this WAITING, even though I shouldn't really even be waiting yet!!

Those dang menstrual like cramps have been giving me some sleepless nights too. Yesterday at my NST the machine was picking up mild contractions the whole time. Yeah, I didn't feel a single one. Cue over-analyzing every little twinge, ping, and feeling.

Me too! Along with the insane cramping I woke up with last night that lasted an hour, I'm so paranoid that LO will come while MH isn't able to be at the hospital with me with half of his shop on leave- she's gotta hang on until after Christmas, at least.

Totally understand. I never experience menstrual like cramps since my first tri, and all of sudden I had them the night before with BHC, but they went away shortly after. The suspense is killing me and I still have 4 more weeks til my due date.

This is me today. Overthinking every little thing. Super tired/exhausted, upset tummy, Braxton hicks (non painful) and on top of that baby seems to have moved up not down as I'm sitting I feel like she's snuggled up in my rib cage and feel like I want to just push her out of there. On top of that every little urine leak u stop and wait and see if it's pee or my water breaking.

Agreed!!  I keep thinking I feel myself leaking.  And the contractions are getting more frequent, slowly but still.  Maybe we're all going crazy!  Lack of wine, perhaps?

I'm right there too. I have irritable uterus, so I'm used to the contractions but since Thursday I've had this cramping that just comes and goes in waves. It's not intense at all and honestly less painful than some of my BH, but it's such a different sensation that I've been paying super close attention.

Seeing that this is not your first rodeo, I gotta say, it makes me feel a little better as a FTM!! I've been having similar fears too, and logically, I know that it is pretty irrational (in my case) but I over analyze everything. I hope that your mind stops playing tricks on you!

Totally in the same boat as PPs, especially about the menstrual cramps! I hope this means I will be super dilated by the time labour comes and it's super quick and easy haha

I could have written this myself! I never analyzed like this with my son, but this time around I'm weirdly in tune with EVERYTHING going on with my body. I think I'm just getting to the point I was at when I went into labor with DS and I'm trying to catch any little sign that may tell me I'm in labor since I was so caught off guard last time.

Between going to the bathroom to actually pee and going to check if I'm leaking something, I pretty much never leave.

I'm right there with you, but I'm a FTM. I've had this weird pinching feeling in my cervix the last two days. It's sharp and is definitely painful, but it feels different than the lightning crotch from LO head butting me there. I've also had cramps in addition to loose and more frequent BM's. I was told on Wednesday that I was 3cm and 80% effaced. I know this means nothing, but I've been hyper aware of everything since my OB gave me that tidbit of information. I was even taking a bath last night and thought "Omg, what if my water is leaking right now and I don't know it?!" 

Yeah, I need to quit. It's making my head spin. 

ETA: if it weren't for TB, I honestly don't think I'd give any of these symptoms a second thought until it was blatantly obvious that I was in early labor. I blame all of you

@rowanthefrog This is totally me! I can't sleep at night because of it! Soon it will all be real.... I hate waiting though.
