Bras

Here is my mini-dilemma: the nursing bras I have are pretty comfy but lack support. The underwire bras I have feel uncomfortable after having DS. Have you found a comfy bra? If so, what is it? Also, since I'm still nursing, should I just wait till I'm done to invest in new bras?

I'm waiting to buy new bras until I'm done with EPing. In the meanwhile I am still living in nursing tanks. I wear them under everything. I tried to wear my old underwires bras and they were super uncomfortable.

My bewbs aren't that big though (even when full of milk) so the tanks are supportive enough for me :\">

Eta: spelling...sleep deprived mommy brain here.

  • I would wait until you are done nursing.  After I weaned last month the shape and size definitely changed...not for the better I might add :((

I went to target and got some on clearance. I paid $5 each for a few of them and I am much happier now.

  • Ditto @Aprilbaby49. My A cups are fine in a nursing tank so I rarely wear any kind of bra.

If money were no object, there would be a boob job in my future, post weaning. I miss my pregnancy C cups.

  • I had the same problem when I was nursing my son. Anita wireless nursing bras are very supportive and comfortable. For around the house, I like glamour mom nursing tanks...they make ones with an adjustable band that I love.
  • Thanks everyone! :)

  • I have a very large chest -- was 42DD before pregnancy, 42H during pregnancy and while nursing, and now am a 42G.  I have had good luck with Goddess while nursing (actually not underwire for the first time in my life), and Wacoal since I stopped.  I waited a good while go invest in new bras, but because I'm so large chested, my bras are like $60 each...

  • I'm back in my old bras, but since i've lost weight and am now pp droopy, i need to get re-sized before i buy new ones. i'm going to wait another 10-15 lbs though. i haven't nursed in 6 months.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
