ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD ITCHY BOOBS..??

So this morning I woke up  and my breast were ridiculously itchy. I don't know whats going on, so far I have only had breast sensitivity the first three weeks and I have been fine until recently when I noticed some sharp pains every now and then. My breast have not grown much but do feel fuller and heavier but then this morning, the itchiness.. What gives?

  • Holy cow, yes. I don't know if it is just winter skin + hot showers and not enough lotion or just another perk of pregnancy ;-)

  • It's normal, but irritating too. Here's what helped me during my pregnancies:

** mild, not hot water : having too hot water dries your skin out easier.

** a good moisturizing soap in the shower. Dove brand with the lotion strip really helped.

** lanolin by the tub. It can be gooey but lanolin is great for all over your body-- not just your nipples. I usually would get a good sleeping bra & slather it on my boobs overnight. It's marvelous.

** when you get up in the morning a light layer of coconut oil can help too. Smells lovely & really moisturizes.

    ** drink lots of water.

    Hope this helps!

  • They are growing, same thing will happen to your belly when you get further along. It sucks, just I just put lotion on every night, and it helped a lot

  • YES! I think it's mostly from breaking out and sweating. My boobs have grown two cup sizes already and I blame that.
