I've been waiting for this post for 5 hrs!

TP to my DH, who left me alone last night with a sick toddler (104 temp but no other symptoms) so he could go "Christmas shopping." He came home smelling like beer. This mildly annoyed me. But my true desire to TP came at 2 am, when dd woke up for the 3rd time, and he didn't move to go see if she was ok. I got up and couldn't get back to sleep for 2 hrs. When I nudged him because he was snoring, he complained how he couldn't control the snoring because he was catching a cold.

You've been catching a cold for a week, buddy, and I'd guess your snoring was from the beer, not the cold. Suck it up. I have a stomach bug, have barely slept in 2 nights, and haven't complained as much as you.

Actually, tP the man-cold too.

initially I was gonna TP the nurse practitioner for taking a cervix sample or whatever and then asking me the last time I had sex, only to say "well then the sample is contaminated and we can't use it" but then she called me bak saying "oh wait it was a 24 hour rule not 48!" So I guess I'm less mad? But still, TP to cervical prodding.

TP to both families for never coming to visit. Especially when I've developed this weird motion sickness during pregnancy. I don't WANT to drive six hours to come see you!! My back starts killing me 2 hours into the trip and no matter what I do I feel like throwing up the whole car ride. Why can't anyone come visit us? Next time I'm pregnant, no effing road trips!

TP for being stuck at work unable to go home when there's NOTHING TO DO! I could be at home in my flannel pj's snuggled under a blanket infront of the fire with a hot chocolate reading my book.

TP to FIL for throwing a fit that we drive over an hour to see him for dinner tonight, instead of tomorrow because "he has plans with his friends". Yes, I want to drive home at 9 pm with DD who will be a total brat. I have too much shit to do to be bothered to drive to you.

@Stace0616- my back starts to bother me on my 45 min commute. I'm so scared of the 5hr drive we're taking on next week. Good luck with yours!!

Thanks! I've got Dramamine in my purse and am bringing a pillow and blanket from home in the hopes that I can trick myself into sleeping. The heated seats help a little but I can never get comfortable and the road seems so effing bumpy.

I put my foot down and told both families that this is the last time I'm traveling until well after the baby is born. And basically laid down the expectation that they WILL come visit after the baby is born if not before.

This is happening to us right now as well. I call it adult time out, where we get to sit for 8 hours and think about what we've done.

Ive got a 9 hr drive tomorrow... In summer with no air con in the car. Its 28 degree (Celsius - no idea what that is in f, but its hot). Can't wait to see family, dreading the trip!

TP to my cat who pees in the dinning room. Where my stuffed up pregnant nose can smell cat pee while eating. Oh and TP to my nose that can't smell anything - even when I can breath.
And TP to spending over an hour with the carpet cleaner trying to clean it up again.

PS another thread had a tip about pouring white vinegar and leaving it on the stain for 15 min. It worked pretty well!

TP to having to drive 4 hours to Indianapolis to spend the weekend with the Inlaws. Found out yesterday they were planning on having us sleep on an air mattress (even though I am 5 months pregnant) in the basement because his brother and sister have kids already so they deserve the bedrooms. Um....no. Well now his brother is not going till tomorrow morning so we get the bedroom because we are arriving tonight and he is apparently NOT happy about it. Your kid is sleeping in a pack n play either way so don't make this about the kid jerk wad, you just don't want to sleep on an air mattress and well frankly NEITHER DO I so suck it!

chivalry is dead!! I cannot believe the amount of men who won't even give up a SEAT for a pregnant woman anymore. My own DH won't give up his seat for me. This generation is shit. I will teach my children better then this. Tell his brother to kick rocks!

TP to the department store who delivered me 4 smashed up martini glasses meaning I now have to go into "Christmas carnage" tomorrow in town to get replacements as they were my mum's present. I do NOT fancy trying to get parked and battling crowds at the same time as feeling exhausted and having low blood pressure. Also TP to my mum and sister who still keep making comments about how I am moaning a lot for someone who is "only" 5 months pregnant. My sister still reckons I should hardly have a bump and / or should hardly have any symptoms at all particularly not dizziness or SPD pain. She thinks its "in my head." My mum keeps going on about how I shouldn't be tired at all yet because when she was pregnant with me she was working two jobs. Yeah? Was sitting in your husband's office all day answering phones too much for you? Well I'm a full time high school teacher. That's the equivelant of at least two normal jobs anyway!
