Freaky bump in my belly- wth?!?

After dinner, I took a bath and my (squishy) belly has a little ball of hardness, probably 1 inch max in size. It is at the level of my belly button but a couple of inches toward my left side. It doesn't hurt at all, and when I press it, it seems to go away but comes back within about a minute. I haven't really felt the baby move (anterior placenta and obese). So weird. Is this just something I've not heard of before?

ETA- the bump is almost like a scar tissue/cyst type of feeling.

I'm overweight and I can feel hardness where the baby is.... Mainly if I'm laying down... So hopefully it's your baby!!!

It is small, an inch max. Kind of like a sphere. I don't think it is baby.

Some hernias don't need immediate attention but they have a tendency to get worse and might need to be surgically removed. I've never had one but my mom has had them. Although they were abdominal hernias. I knew one kid that had an umbilical hernia and didn't really bother him for a long time until they also eventually removed it. I would talk to your doctor but otherwise I wouldn't be too concerned about it unless it's causing pain.

Btw, I was secretly hoping this thread would have some freaky picture of like an alien looking bump. I got my hopes up for nothing!

Sounds like its probably just the baby pushed up against the uterus. That sounds like what I felt with my first when he was really small. I would wait and see if its still there tomorrow. If it is, then I would consider calling your doc.
