Update.....
So apparently she is measuring in the 91st percentile but they aren't worried at this point. She said I will have another US later to see how she's progressing and if it will impact delivery. Thanks for all of your thoughts and help through the day. It really helped! Now I'm going to try to turn off all of the "why is she so big?" questions and relax.
------------------------------------------------
I've called both doctors offices handling my care and the one that did part two of my SS and A/S said my official A/S results have not come back and the other has not called back yet.
Here's the issue... I looked on my patient portal today since I haven't heard anything and it says:
Ordered Date: 12/11/13 (date of A/S FYI)
Uterine size date discrepancy, antepartum condition or complication
SEQUENTIAL 2
Result: Negative for Down syndrome, trisomy 18 and open spinal defects
Yay for negative sequential 2 results! But, my concern is the first part and everything leading up to "complication". I can only assume this is from the OB the day of and not the person preparing the official report. But what does it mean? The nurse at her office is obviously busy because she just told the receptionist to tell me the report isn't ready. Now I'm just waiting to hear from my regular OB who handles everything else pregnancy related.
I'm not freaking out, but my husband and family will so I'm just posting here to get this out there for me, because I have to tell someone and to see if anyone has seen this on a report. And I also want to add that I didn't have the greatest A/S experience...super fast with a mute tech (no this is the heart, femur, its a girl, etc... Just silence), even though the doc said on her quick glance things appeared ok. Thanks ladies. Y'all are always so helpful and supportive!

My regular OB's nurse called and said they would try to get more info for me from the other doctor. Waiting blows.
The above sentence sounds like a request to check if there is "Uterine size date discrepancy, antepartum condition or complication " basically if you put a question mark on the end of the sentence it makes more sense ie: Uterine size date discrepancy, antepartum condition or complication? that the sonographer will now check for any of these abnormalities, and this is what the Radiologist will report on.
This is "scary medical lingo" as you guys call it above. This post and explanation is written in a personal capacity and not as a medical professional and in no way should serve as a replacement for a doctors advice or guidance.
diagnostic and billing codes are preset and used the same across the country so that the same data is easily understandable/interpretable at whatever hospital or clinic your records end up at. This particular diagnostic code is: 649.63 - Uterine size date discrepancy, antepartum condition or complication
Pretty much, this means that the doctor's office used this as the reasoning for the testing to be covered or billed visit. Some codes can cover multiple conditions or reasons for being seen. in this case it means it could be one of the 2 things listed. you aren't antepartum so the antepartum condition or complication doesn't qualify. So they are billing the test due to uterine size discrepancy.
Uterine size can vary highly until you get later into 3rd trimester of pregnancy and isn't something to worry about unless your doctor tells you to be.
