My friend has 3 kids, all a year apart, and got pregnant breastfeeding the last two. There is no guarantee you won't ovulate. Please ask your OB. There is atleast one pill you can take while breastfeeding. I can't remember the name of it but my OB put me on it at my 6 week post delivery check up.
My dad is a "you can't get pregnant while breastfeeding" baby. Grandma's excuse is it was the 50's and they didn't know any better...it's not the 50's anymore.
Does anyone else just see a period instead of the original post?
Yes, she deleted the post because she didn't like what people had to say. At least thats what I'm gathering from the comments.
If you have the guts to post something, you need the guts to keep it up...It's a forum for opinions, whether they're what the poster wants to hear or not. I say boo for them deleting it.

Right?! Besides, what if someone else had the same question. No one was being overly snarky... Yet

I mean, I do think my original response was kind of snarky, buttttttt I am a FTM and I already know the answer to that so I was kind of like what?!? to the question.
I understand it is not birth control but breastfeeding prevents some women from ovulation which in turn prevents pregnancy.
You might as well just use the pull out method
Hey, the pull out method works well if you do it correctly. Until the one time you don't during the week you ovulate.
No lie, my husband and I used this for a year before trying to get pregnant and only got pregnant when we tried. However, we also knew if we got pregnant sooner than later that would be ok, we'd make it work. I know it's not fool proof.

My initial response was: are you fucking serious? Someone tell me she's joking! ...but I decided to be nice. It takes less time to Google than it does to post a question like this so if she thought she was going to get flamed why not just do a little research? Don't DD. That's a dick move IMO.

LMAO! My daughter is 5 and we just decided to get pregnant with this one. We must be pull out experts! Do you think I should hold talks at the learning annex? You all could be talking to the next Tony Robbins!
