23w & finally movement!!

FTM with anterior placenta & was getting worried because I was reading here how most everyone is feeling movement! Yesterday was the most I felt, like a little fish wiggling in my low belly. This has to be her, right?? DH still can't feel her though :-(

  • Yay mama! I'm a FTM as well, but have a posterior placenta so I have been feeling him for a while now. Glad you can feel her more now!

  • Glad I"m not the only one who is still in the "is it or isn't it?" phase. I *think* I've been feeling the baby, but with the anterior placenta, it's just so hard to tell. Someday it'll get more definitive :)

Sounds like it was the baby to me, though! Yay!

  • I have an anterior placenta too and that's how lo's movements started out for me at about 22 weeks. Now at 25 weeks I can feel her turning and pushing out on my belly. Most of the movement I feel is still really low!
  • Im in the same boat and its taken until this past weekend to feel definite kicks.  DH was even able to feel baby boy a couple of times in a row.  Loving the feeling.

  • I apparently have an anterior placenta as well! I was only feeling an occasional side kick-- and it was really freaking me out because it would come out of NOWHERE (and only to the left!) and only happened a total of 4 times in 2 weeks--- now I am 21 weeks and feels kinda like you describe a fish flopping around. Definitely not frequently though!!!

  • I am 22 weeks with an anterior placenta and just started feeling baby girl this past weekend. I think I may have been feeling her for a little while before that (I had that same wriggling feeling), but chalked it up to indigestion (sorry, baby!). Now, it feels like gentle little pokes along my bikini line. Every once in a while I get a little jab that startles me though. I was so excited to have DH feel her kick the other day!

Isn't this a great feeling? Enjoy it!
