When is it safe to put the bumper back up??

I was wondering when it is safe to put the bumper back in the crib?

I know my baby is still too young, I am just not sure if I should pack it away in storage with my other stuff tomorrow!

its never safe, when they are bigger they can use it to stand on and fall out of the crib

We use the breathable mesh one and have always had it in.  My daughter never has tried to stand on it but if she did it would crush down.

Found DD#1 standing in her crib at 5 months exactly. Had an emergency mattress lowering session at 2am that evening. A bumper would have allowed her to stand on that as well.

Pack it away. IMO they are useless.

I was only thinking about them rolling into it. Its one of those nights, glad I asked!

We just ordered a mesh bumper from Amazon.  I have never used the regular bumper, but recently, DD has taken to sticking her legs out of the crib several times a night.  She rolls over and uses the slats to push off to move around.  I cant wait to get the mesh bumpers installed.  I will sleep better.
