Worst timing for a present

Our realtor just sent us 64 of these chocolates:

I mean, chocolate PLUS booze?? Good news - expiration date of 11/24/14. Guess they'll just have to tease me from the pantry!

Re: Worst timing for a present

  • Oh, man! That's rough! Thank goodness for preservatives! ;)

Last weekend I want to the spa and as soon as I got there they asked if I wanted a glass of wine or a mimosa. I politely declined, but a mimosa sounded wonderful!

  • YUM.  I got a package of those in a Christmas grab bag a few years ago - they are delicious!  Something to look forward to for after baby arrives? :)

  • @savvy122 So they are good? Some I think will be yummy - raspberry vodka + dark chocolate - but I'm not sure about the tequila one!
  • Omg that looks amazing

  • That's a bummer!

My parents had a small part last weekend and my dad overbought the booze. They'll never drink it, so my dad brought it here and have it to us. So much wine, sambuca, Bailey's. Such a tease!

  • YUM! I'm glad it has a long shelf life.

  • I remember my parents getting a big box of those liqueur chocolates when I was a kid (maybe 8 or 9?).  Being the laissez-faire 1980s parents that they were, they let me eat as many of them as I wanted!  I haven't had them since childhood but I remember them being pretty awesome!
