I think I read in a previous post (unless I mis-read) that you are using a car seat that is 6 yrs old. Did I read that correctly?

You do know that car seats expire after 6 years, right?

    Huh.  It hasn't been used for a bunch of kids or anything, just my 6 yo son.  What could be wrong with it?
