Maternity Jeans OMG

I was getting ready for our work Christmas party last Friday and went to pull on my stretch jeans that I have been wearing with a belly band. I tugged them up by the belt loops and... ripppp !! Tore a huge hole in them. I guess the universe was trying to tell me something?

So I went shopping over the weekend for maternity jeans and OMG... they are amazing. I must have tried on half the store before settling on a pair and I'm glad I took the time. I initially didn't like the idea of the full belly panel. But it makes my bump look super cute and I think the coverage will be nice as I get further along. I actually think I look better in these than any regular jeans I've owned.
They were a bit of a splurge but should last all thru this pregnancy, post birth, and we plan to have more kids in the future. I'm the kind of person who would rather have just 1 great pair of jeans and more cheaper tops to change up.

Anyway, I just wanted to share for the benefit of anyone who's on the fence about getting their first pair of prego pants   :)

    I'm with you, the full panel just make me feel better about the growing bump!

    I love mine! I feel like everything is where it's supposed to be, and they make me feel less fat and more preggo :)

    Yessss maternity jeans are awesome! I have a skinny jeans pair (ok 3 pairs lol) and they they look better than my actual jeans! Full panel makes my bump super cute! I'm 16 weeks and I'm short so my bump is growing fast lol

    Yes @crossfitkiwi - where did you get them?  I probably only have a few more weeks left into my "fat" jeans.  I cheated and bought the next size up first.

    When I got my first maternity clothes...a couple of weeks ago....I wanted to die they were so comfortable! Will be having a whole wardrobe before this baby gets here;-)

    Love my maternity jeans. They make me look cute and pregnant, not just chubby like regular jeans! I agree with other posters, the full panel definitely shows off the bump nicely!

    Plus, they're just so damn comfortable!

    I now fully believe that all pants should have built in stretchy waist panels...put on my first pair of maternity jeans 3 weeks ago and it felt like heaven. I have full panel and like that it makes my bump look like a nice little bump instead of chunk...my attempt at regular jeans with the rubberband trick just made a nasty muffin top and gut...

    They are AG Jeans from Destination Maternity. I can't recommend Destination Maternity enough actually. They have a huge range of jeans, all different prices and the sales assistant was so helpful. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks!

    YES! After weeks of rubber-banding my regular jeans I finally caved and got out my maternity pants, and now I regret waiting. Very comfortable!
