Feeling happy and relieved

I just got back from my 23 week appointment. I got to hear our baby boy's heartbeat and it sounded great. It always makes my day to get to hear him! Anyway, this weekend I had posted about having period-like cramps off and on for a few days. I was really worried but all of the ladies that responded to my post here made me feel a lot better but of course I was still anxious going to my appointment today. The doctor didn't seem too concerned but did a pelvic exam and said that everything felt fine. Then she said that normally she would just tell me to relax and call if the cramps continue but she thought she would run and catch the ultrasound tech before she left so she could do a quick ultrasound to measure the cervix, just so I wouldn't have anything to worry about. They did a quick internal ultrasound and everything looked fine! I am so relieved. I didn't get to actually see the baby but as long as I know there is nothing to worry about I am happy.
