Winter Cocktails

Guys, I'm drinking eggnog with butterscotch schnapps and spiced rum.  It is so freaking delicious that I felt it would just be selfish of me if I didn't start a thread to inform you all about it!  OMG!  What's your favorite winter drink?

Egg nog is disgusting.

Right now I'm mixing coffee and hot chocolate with peppermint creamer. It's pretty lame. But usually I like anything with champagne. Mmmm, champagne.

I'm sorry, @stoneycakes, but I think things b/n us are over. I can't even stomach the thought of drinking something with the word "egg" in the name. In fact, I can't think of a single winter cocktail that I would drink in ordinary circumstances. I live in Margaritaville all year long.

I'm going to assume that you and TJ are simply temporarily eggnog challenged due to hormonal fluctuations. Eggnog is delicious. /gavel

@Mapleme your dad's eggnog sounds amazing!  As for the other drinks, I once overdid it with whiskey and I've mostly avoided it since then.  However, I think I might be ready to try it again.  But definitely not with just a splash of water.  I'm gonna need some flavorful mixers, haha!

I like eggnog with Captain Morgan hundred proof.

Hands down, though, best drink is warm apple cider with Tuaca. Yummmm. And this has inspired me to go get cider tomorrow.

These drinks all sound delicious!!

We went to a cookies and cocktails party yesterday and the hostess made white chocolate peppermint martinis! vanilla vodka, peppermind Schnapps and white chocolate liquor. I only had a taste since I am BF but they were delicious!!

I'm sorry.  I understand. We found out DS was MSPI right before last Christmas.  He just weaned and I've been totally gorging myself on dairy lately!
