Pity, party of one!

I know that I should be excited to start IVF #3, and I am. But I get easily overwhelmed by a lot of stuff! I spoke with Freedom Fertility this afternoon to schedule my delivery of meds. I broke down in tears when I got off the phone because they are going to be $6400!! IF is so unfair in so many ways! Then I saw the mailman and thought some Christmas cards would surely cheer me up! Not so. The only mail I got was a bill for some adjusted claims from my previous RE for $475. I can't even figure out what for! Ugh! And no one has the right words to say. Just had to vent .... I will keep praying, as I do for everyone struggling with IF every day.

Ugh. I'm so so sorry. The meds kill me. Just when you think they've bled you drier than dry, there's that extra little (big?) twist of the knife, right? We've only gotten one Christmas card, from our CPA. I feel like that one should have come with a bottle of wine given how much we paid him to straighten out our tax situation this year. Can you find a mindless distraction, like a ridiculously silly movie (Elf? Christmas Vacation?) Sometimes that, or a visit to the dog park, helps me shake out of a funk. I hope this cycle is it for you!

im sorry youre going through this *hugs** IF is difficult enough, but the financial burden just makes it that much harder. maybe you can also ask your clinic if they have any meds to donate?

Thank you dear friends. You are right it's just that initial "sucker punch" that gets you, then you just move on......till I get the big box of meds and needles and get overwhelmed again

@IFinTN @maggie713 - if you're up for it I'd love to do a non-photo brag bumpie Christmas card exchange. Wouldn't that be a wonderful break from all the picture cards!? My hairdresser's station today was plastered with them and then my acupuncturist just had to show me a card that arrived while I was checking out "because it had the chunkiest baby." Sigh. My hairdresser and I were actually talking today about how no one gives "traditional" cards anymore. PM your address me if you're in

Omg that bites big ones. Hang in there...we've all had those days!

I'm sorry to hear that it's been a rough day, IF stinks!  As a side note, check out prosperity pharmacy. They were literally over $1000 cheaper than Freedom for my meds.
