I know that while we are all characters in our own stories, working through our struggles to conceive, testing, treatments, successfully and unsuccessfully, it can be a very real challenge to stay hopeful, stay faithful, and express feelings of gratitude. I struggle with it every day. But, I want to remind everyone here, including myself, that holding faith in ourselves, in our bodies, in our partners' bodies, in the REs, the process - faith means something. Being grateful for how far we have come, for community, for our resilience, for our ability to fight to achieve the things in life we treasure and value most - gratitude means something. These are powerful intentions that bring positive energy to our lives and our journeys here as we TTC.
Even though it can certainly be a daily struggle, an hourly struggle (for me, anyway!), I wanted to send out this reminder to take care of ourselves. Treat ourselves every once in a while. Take a warm bath. Have a glass of wine or a hot cup of tea. Buy a pretty nail polish or a new pair of earrings. Sleep in. Be grateful for the strength that brought you this far, for your hubby's or partner's strength. Be faithful in your body. I know it is hard. But in those moments you find a struggle, remind yourself of one thing you are grateful for.
I know I count on this group for support and stories and love and sharing. We are powerful women, and powerful beings. I learn from you all, and I know that I am grateful for your presence here.
