I know our floor is undergoing renovations, but for the love of god, why did you think that now was the best time to do all the noisy work?  I don't need to concentrate, really, it's fine. Next time, just let me know so I can bring in some massive headphones, since I really don't feel like putting in my earplugs right now.

To my coworker. I understand breast feeding is an amazing and beautiful thing, however, I can't due to some personal health issues. I don't need a guilt trip. Plenty of beautiful babies have been born and grown up into healthy people after being fed formula. ::shakes head::

TP to my boss for telling me he feels unprepared for today's meeting despite telling me about it a mere 3 days ago (during an already busy week) and him being out all morning at a leadership conference.

TP to my DH who said he was going to get me breakfast this morning and then didn't. I would not normally ask him to do that but I have been home with pneumonia all week and he didn't go to the store this week.  Food is sparse and I finally had an appetite.  He offered to go pick up stuff and instead just went into work.  When I called asking when he would be here he said he was worried about being late and went into the office instead. Disappointed!

TP to pneumonia for keeping me out of work all week when I really need to be there and can't work from home.  And when we had fun Christmas plans this week and I won't get to do any of them now!

Exactly! My boss is also one of those women who never got morning sickness and who never got tired until she was like 3 days from giving birth. So she just doesn't get for some reason how tired I actually am.

Ditto! Some people around my office have started saying my clothes are looking so snug and that it's "time to go shopping for maternity clothes". Why is pregnancy an appropriate time to say these things??? Some of us are trying to not drop a load on clothes we'll wear for a couple months. This is why I kept my "fatter clothes" in the first place!

TP to my dog, even though I love him. He found a sponge and destroyed it all over the living room. I took him to get his nails clipped and the ladies, lovely as they were, couldn't even get all of them because he is a spaz, and a large spaz at that. Not to mention he was practically dragging me across the parking lot (very snowy and slippery) so his throat punch is pretty damn literal because I bought a spiked choke collar because I just cant risk him pulling me down and the harnesses/training I've done with him just haven't worked yet. Last nerve.

TP to my BIL's girlfriend who says my BIL and her can't make it to our ugly Xmas sweater party tomorrow night because she made a commitment to an old co-worker's holiday party two months ago. WTH? Oh, and BIL can't make it to our XMas Eve dinner or see us on Christmas Day because he will be three hours away with his girlfriend's family. So we are not going to see my BIL at all for the Christmas holiday. Can't wait for him to pop the question to her..... NOT!

TP to MYSELF for thinking that I could still handle climbing over a snowbank at 23 weeks pregnant and NOT slip and fall.

2 hours in hospital later...baby is fine. Ughhh Lesson Learned.

Ugh, my DH too! But he doesn't hear it till I elbow him awake and then just flops an arm over to hit snooze. He doesn't even really wake up!! So annoying...

This was a conversation with a patient a couple weeks ago..

Patient: Are you pregnant?
Me: Yes...(awkwardly grab belly)...I know I just popped a belly last week
Patient: No, it's your face
Me: What do you mean, my face?
Patient: It's getting fat.

I had this patient for 1 day before this.  My face has not gotten noticeable fatter, yet.  I'll be the first to know when it does!  Ugh.


What?? Seriously? How are people so rude? And clueless?

I wish I would have had a snappy comeback but I was kind of in shock. I didn't get pissed until after he'd already left!
