Good morning snowdrops!

Not much to update.  Yesterday was CD 1 and I start BCP tomorrow.  I am also having a SHG next Thursday to recheck my uterus for any possible issues.

QOTD:  I am generally not very superstitious, but I do buy new "lucky" socks for each cycle, since none of the socks I have tried so far have not been "lucky."

Nothing new to report. Still on BCP, eager to start Lupron in 2 weeks. I have a preliminary ultrasound and bloodwork appt next Tuesday.

QOTD: No superstitions. I actually got married on Friday the 13th

Edit: I lied. I'm superstitious about hearing Swedish House Mafias "don't you worry child". I've heard it since I jad my first miscarriage and every time I hear it something goes wrong. Like every time. Heard it the day I had both my losses, day of D&C, when my bro got diagnosed with cancer, when my mom got attacked by a dog, when my first Ivf got delayed, and when our transfer was cancelled. I've heard it for other small things too

Good morning snowdrops!

Had my scheduling appointment yesterday and will be starting to check for ovulation this weekend to determine when to start my Estrace.  Since I have a pretty short cycle, I will likely start stimming between Christmas and New Years with an early January ER.  And I was super happy that my RE seems to really hear my concerns and is ordering me both hCG and Lupron so the trigger decision can be made later....and a variety of other meds to help with OHSS prevention if need be.  Makes me feel more comfortable going into this round knowing I have options and that everything is prepared for.

QOTD:  I do tend to be superstitious, but I can't say there is one exact thing....I just tend to think I am gonna jinx things, or I think certain songs are a good sign...especially those that remind me of my mother   I do like Friday the 13th...my birthday is a 13th and I always love when it falls on a Friday.

Good morning ladies! I stopped BCP 2 days ago. Still on Lupron only, for about another week. To go in for another check, hopefully start Estrace.

Qotd: like @braven985 I am superstitious, nothing specific. I will change positions during a football game if my team is losing. But I always worry about jinxing things. On my first ultrasound to see the baby before I m/c I was worried before the text came in because I didn't beat a level in candy crush. I had beat a level every single wait up until that point. But I know it was just a coincidence.

We had our IVF inject class and mock transfer on Wednesday.  As they do the IVF class on Wednesdays, they had to quickly fit us in due to being closed on the holidays.  Now, we wait.....I don't do well with waiting.  I think the time between Christmas and New Year's is going to be the longest week ever. 

QOTW:  I don't have many negative superstitions.  Mainly small positive ones like lucky socks and my college's angel tradition (when you leave the gates, tap the top of your car to pick up your angel).

Hi snowdrops! Have a few more days left of bcp and still on Lupron shots for awhile. Surprisingly no headaches this cycle body getting used to it maybe? . Can't believe how fast time is flying and the holidays gets my mind of the transfer.

QOTD: I am not superstitious really but if I see a black cat cross my path I always think twice

No real updates for us. @Manada is taking BCPs and I'm waiting for my period to start @BCPs.

QOTD: I love 13 (was born on the 13th and so my baseball jersey number is always 13 or 31 if I can make it happen). But like @twinkie0612 I think I need some new socks for this cycle. I have a pair tha M and I have decided are definitely unlucky. I'm gonna let her pick out a pair of tall/knee socks for me to wear for ultrasounds this cycle and we're gonna do our best to make them lucky.

Good morning! Not much to report on my end. Still waiting for AF, who typically runs later than "average" anyhow.

QOTD: I'm not specifically superstitious. Although I often notice coincidences in numbers (like DH favorite # is 2, mine is 3, we got married on the 23rd) or little things like that. I do always seem to be wearing red on the first day of AF. Weird? I'll probably stop wearing it altogether in January ;-).

Nothing new here. Just truckin along in BCP. I do my first and only lupron depot shot on jan 2nd. We are faxing the prescription today and they should call me beginning of next week. I already paid for the PIO and estradiol shots and should get that by tue next week. Busy at work so the time is really flying by this time but I'm sure jan will slow down a bit.
Qotd: I recently threw away some red rose stud earrings a friend gave to me. They were hers and said she thought they were bad luck... I told her well give them to me because I don't believe in that stuff. So I've had them for like two-three years now. Ever since she gave them to me her life has really made a turn for the better and she recently had a baby and got married after a horrible divorce. So I went to wear them the other day and on the way to work I chucked them out of my window while driving!!! Lol I have no clue what made me do that but let's see if my luck turns around for 2014!

@Lacyj67 You totally made me LOL at work!  That's so funny!  I love it!

It seems like a lot has happened since my first check-in.  I got my calendar on Tuesday, I'm SO excited!!  I'm a type A person so I have to have dates and things in my planner at all times.  They extended my Estrace and Prometrium 2 days so I stop those on 12/22 and we expect AF on Christmas Eve.  Baseline will be on Christmas and I start Ganirelix.  Another u/s on 12/28 and last Ganirelix.  Then I start my list of stims, dex and HGH on 12-29.  We will br triggering with BOTH HCG and Lupron, anyone do this?  Possible ER on 1/9!!!

Our injections training is on Monday and we are working on ordering meds.  They should all be delivered by Tuesday!  If I get them in time, I'll include a PIP of the load

QOTW:  I'm not superstitious but today has been horrible at work!  Everyone is crabby and snapping at everyone.  I'm so ready to go home!

Nothing exciting YET... Should be getting my period within the next week and then I will start my 2 weeks on the pill and then we should be able to start. I am getting really anxious, but also pretty nervous. I know that there are obviously other options after this and even more/different IVF cycles I can try but I just feel like IVF is the end... Like it's a yes or no, a definite.

QOTD: I am pretty superstitious but nothing too bad happened today soooo there's that. My brother in-law is getting married on Friday, June 13 and I just can't believe they believe they would be so bold! I could never take that chance... I realized how ridiculous that sounded as soon as I typed it.

I'm still temping/OPKs to track ovulation, then will do a progesterone draw a week later and start oral estrogen. Unless it happens too early, in which case the lab shutdown will push us back a cycle. So just waiting!

No superstitions. I actually forgot today was Friday the 13th.

Hey all! Started BCP yesterday. Consulted with my nurse yesterday and found out that there was some confusion between my doc and another nurse, and we aren't changing protocol. Kind of a huge relief to not have to squeeze in another apt before Christmas. QOTW: no superstitions really, but I agree with above statement - I never want to jinx things!

Hi Snowdrops I'm on BCP's and should start synarel nasal spray around Christmas. My husband and I had our blood taken yesterday for a DQ alpha match test and I'm hoping we get the results before our FET in January as the results will indicate whether we transfer one or two embryos.


QOTD: I'm not really superstitious. I'd hesitate slightly walking under ladders but it wouldn't stop me doing it. 13 is my husbands lucky number and we have a black cat

Hi, ladies! AF came today so it looks like I'm ready to get started on my way to my FET!!! This is sort of graphic, but just like after my failed IVF 1, AF arrived like a total BEAST today. It was like a crime scene (gross, I know) and the usual reinforcements just aren't cutting it today. My cycles are normally pretty light and only last a couple days.. so I wonder if this is the kind of period women who have "normal" cycles have or if this is a special kind of awful since it's after a fresh IVF 2.

Of course it's a Saturday, so I have to wait until Monday to call it in, but I assume that I'll start BCP on Monday and go from there.

No real superstitions here.. When DH and I were in Italy in October we lit a candle in a church in Florence. We are not at all religious, but I can't help but think that it may have had something to do with this cycle not being a total disaster. Heck, it couldn't have hurt!

Also- could someone change me to FET #1? At the top it has me listed as FET #2. Thanks!!

Hey Ladies! AF showed up yesterday, so it's time to start prepping for the FET! I'll be starting BCP tomorrow and then waiting out the lab closure. I'm still waiting for the grades and CCS results. QOTD: Not too superstitious, but I do write a fund of abundance check on a new moon, just in case!

@aquajacks - looks like we'll be on similar schedules for our FET! Your numbers are really impressive! We have just 1 blast, but I'm hoping it's a plucky one

Good morning ladies!

Friday I had my first FET appointment! I cycled back in both August and October this year. During my October cycle, I was able to freeze 4 embryos!

On Friday, we did an U/S , BW and medicine review. I started 10 units of lupron a and I am to call when AF shows(approximately 10 days from Friday). After AF shows I will get the remainder of my schedule. Until then, I will continue my prenatal vitamins and acupuncture. My FET is scheduled for January 15,2014. I had a successful fresh cycle in 2009. I am dreading the progesterone shots. However ,I will be on them for 10 days (prior to my FET). Then I will use Crinone suppositories.
