We have decided to withdrawal our son from his present daycare center. We have not been very happy for the past few months. Not only has he been sick for 3 solid months (this is normal I know)..but the center does not seem very clean most of the time I am in there. Children are allowed to crawl all over the dirty carpet that people walk all over (with their shoes on), toys are broken and sticky, communication is poor, and I have not seen much engagement with the babies in the room. We are going to have a family friend watch him most of the week (she also watches another 7 month old). My MIL may also watch him a couple days a week. So we will not be going to another center at this time.
They require a two week written notice. We have paid for the year tuition in full, so I will be requesting a refund for the remaining balance. My question is what should I include in the letter? I do not want to be rude or nasty at all.
Thanks.
