Side/rib pain?

I am 16 weeks with twins and for the past few days I have had a stabbing pain (like someone stuck something between my ribs) on my right side (a little higher than belly button but on my side). It feels like when I was pregnant with DD, but much further along, and she would get a limb in between my ribs. I'm
thinking it's because I'm growing more quickly and is normal? Is this too high for round ligament pain? I never had that with DD. It only feels better when I lie down, and best when lying on the side that hurts.

Around 16 weeks is when I had tons of stretching pains and yes,mine were that high up.  My entire stomach hurt.  My OB told me your uterus is stretching at a much faster pace around this time.  Mine lasted until about 22-24 weeks.

I dealt with this too and actually went in because it was so bad! Mine was all from stretching and eventually I ended up with a child in my ribs which didn't help! Hot packs and tylenol helped me!
