Have you guys signed up for birth classes yet? I'm currently researching hypnobirthing but am open to all local recommends

I have only signed up for the 8 hr class at the hospital (Virginia Hospital Center). My friend is letting me borrow her hypnobabies set and I will see if I feel like I need to find something else after I look through it.

im in the baltimore area and i've signed up for the birthing classes at baltimore washington medical center which starts in january. this is not the hospital i will be delivering at tho. i will be taking the newborn care class at my delivering hospital after the first of the year as well

We did Bradley last time with Kelly V. at BirthCare and she is awesome.  I'm going to be auditing her class again starting in January as part of my doula cert.  Highly, highly recommended!

@cgoldian - Whats your due date?  4/16/2014?  We could very well be in at VHC on the same day!  What practice are you with?!

I never took birthing classes even with my first. I just did a lot of research. My hospital (Inova) offer a lot of classes and BF classes too

@cgoldian let me know what you think of hypnobabies. I'm thinking about doing the home study but I don't know if that will be enough. @bornmommy I'm delivering at birth care . That's so awesome that you are becoming a doula!

@cgoldian I'm with Arlington Women's Center.  First was out of force of habit since I'd been there eight years prior to getting KU and then I switched to the MW, Karen King, and love love love her.  I'm delivering at the hospital just so she can assist my birth again

@acrookston Thats awesome!  I really like the birth care staff.
