Today was my first day on an actual computer! I promise, I will be back on track from now on. Welcome to the April 2014 Multiples check-in! This is a weekly check-in on Mondays for April moms who are carrying 2 or more babies in their belly! ____________________________________________________ Please share the following in your post (If you are new, please intro!): How are you feeling this week? How are you feeling this week? I have a cold, got past the sinus portion though, that was TORTURE, now just congested, that I can deal with

Updates? Had my Anatomy Scan, both boys are doing great!

Vents? No Vents, Just happy to not have a sinus headache anymore!

Bedrest check-in (for those who are on limited duty or complete BR): On modified bedrest for now, which I think I would have put on myself if the doc didnt, since even folding a load of laundry puts me on my butt for a good hour or two.

How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? Love it! I can identify them for now, but that might be cuz I know exactly where they are from the A/S. Poor Baby B's head keeps getting intrueded by Baby A though. Baby A is def the dominate!

Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? When do you think you will be having it? Any FTMs NOT having one? These are babies 3 and 4 so not having one

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! 7° and snowy, trying to remember why DH and I didnt move to Houston when we had the chance!

I am doing good. I am officially allowed back at work tomorrow. I doubt it will be for much longer though. We had our fetal echo and growth scan yesterday which was neat. Babies have perfect hearts and are growing just ahead of schedule. Baby girl is 1lb 4oz and Baby boy is 1lb. 2 oz. I'm still in shock with how much they have grown. Contractions have calmed down, but if still get a lot of back pain and stomach hardening throughout the day. It is weird too. The hardening is usually just one sided, so I can't tell if it is just stretching out or the baby's positioning.

Glad those babies are healthy and the contractions calmed! Hopefully they stay nice and inactive for a while. I have a hard time figuring out if its baby or stomach hardening too. If I do too much it def gets really hard and I have to lay down for a while, but the out of the blue ones, Im never sure of.

How are you feeling this week? Great, I have had pretty good energy, but have a tough time walking my dog.  I have to take breaks because I feel dizzy.  This led to a melt down. Poor husband...

Updates? AS Friday! Last Monday at 19w4d I was measuring 27 weeks!

Vents? "ALL I WANT TO DO IS WALK MY DOG, it's not FAIR."

How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? It's amazing.  I feel them all the time. Baby A is low, below my belly button laying down, and baby B is upright on the right side of my belly.  I don't feel them at the same time though (I don't think)... Does anyone else???

Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? When do you think you will be having it? Any FTMs NOT having one? I am having 3 showers, not involved in planning though.  One is for my DHs family only (tradition) but my mom is flying down from Alaska to go!!  One is my side of the family, and will be more of a brunch than a shower.  And one is my DH's mom's friends that want to throw one.

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! SO COLD.  It's hard to be in such cold weather when you're not used to it anymore.  Sorry to hear about your weather...  The nice thing about Alaska was with all the snow there was a point to the cold.  Here in CA it is sunny and you walk outside and get frost burns on exposed body parts.

EDIT: I just felt them at the same time for the FIRST TIME! So cool.

21w tomorrow. Ok, dealing w GD and insulin. Extremely tired.

Updates? OB appt tomorrow. Will find out MY weight gain. Babies were measuring each 12oz last thurs at 20w.

Honestly I'm so tired and no energy.

Both have anterior placentas so I'm still not feeling much but I can feel some and from outside if my hand is there. Sometimes I can tell who is who.

These are babies #7&8. No showers.

How are you feeling this week? Feeling ok--just worn out easily by things. I am starting to really try to adjust my daily life, but it's tough!

Updates? At the dr. today, and they are looking great! Grow boys grow!

Vents? Nothing huge--except that my ankles and feet have started swelling! Yuck!

How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? I really like feeling them! It seems like the plus to all of the stress/anxiety/discomfort! I can tell which is which.

Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? When do you think you will be having it? Any FTMs NOT having one? We are having a few showers, but I haven't been much of a part of planning....

@figgs0831 - thanks for posting. Glad you are doing OK.

How are you feeling this week? Updates? Vents? Had a cold, but otherwise feeling pretty good except for being tired a lot. We did our maternity pictures and I am crazy excited about how they turned out. I'll attach one below We will use some pics on our Christmas card and the  thank you cards I printed for for the shower gifts as well. 

 How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? Love it! Finally felt both babies from the outside at 22 w. DH did too. There is one on the left and one on the right, but I am confused about who is who. 

 Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? 

We are having 3. I'm pretty involved in the one my sister is doing because I feel comfortable bossing her around. I helped her word the invite and we agreed to do it open house style and serve lunch. The other two I am basically just supplying guest lists and showing up. All three are in January.

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! C-c-c-cold! We had several inches of snow this week.

How are you feeling this week? Feeling tired, I swear I could sleep all the time! I had a 24 hour bug Friday and Saturday and that was awful but luckily I was getting enough fluid, nice to eat now!

Updates? 24 weeks tomorrow! Last week the girl's looked great at the dr.'s! 1lb 2 oz each and very active

Vents? My back is killing me!! I don't know how it's going to feel 10, 13 weeks from now!

Bedrest check-in (for those who are on limited duty or complete BR): N/A really, just taking it easy fx I don't have to go on bed rest or at least not for a couple more weeks!

How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? I love it! They are constantly moving! I can see them move through my skin now too. Baby A is on my lower left and baby B is on my upper right underneath my ribs!

Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? When do you think you will be having it? Any FTMs NOT having one? I am having 2 family ones (one on DH's side, other one mine) having a friend one and then my neighbors are throwing one as well! Hope we get some good stuff!

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! Snowy! The roads aren't as bad as they were last week but still haven't been driving much!

How are you feeling this week? Updates? I had my anatomy scan last week and it was great! The babies were moving all over the place, are perfectly healthy, and measuring a week ahead. My cervix is over 4 and I gained 11 pounds last month so I'm back on track with my weight gain. And we were able to remain Team Green (which apparently is a first for the ultrasound tech doing twin scans.) 

Vents? I'm feeling very lucky with this pregnancy thus far (which is nice after how hard and how long it took to get here.) My doctor told me I need to stop worrying and I don't need to go back in for another 5 weeks! I'm glad that I'm so healthy so far, but it's a long time to wait to see the babies again. After that, I think I'll start going every two weeks.

How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? Well, I have an anterior placenta so I've barely felt any movement. I occasionally have some fluttering which I guess is Baby A because it's so low. It's such a bummer to not be able to feel them! I was told by 24 weeks I will probably be able to feel them more. 

Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? When do you think you will be having it? Any FTMs NOT having one? I think it's going to be February 1. I'm not super involved in the planning. I just really don't want a lot of silly games. 

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! It's been unseasonably dry and cold for awhile now. But it's starting to turn a little warmer and rain is on the way again.

ckred27 - I had a bad cold about a month ago and it was terrible. The nose problems haven't gone away since and I think are here to stay. Hope you have better luck in getting rid of that congestion!

How are you feeling this week? Updates? Vents? Feeling pretty good...all nausea is now gone, finally! My carpel tunnel has extended to both hands so I've got a brace for both.....my hubby calls me robo-mom Swelling in my feet and ankles have started so I only have one pair of shoes that fit Hoping I don't have to break down and wear crocs in public Going to Dr. tomorrow to see how Baby B is doing.....he is still behind so hoping he continues to grow grow grow!

 How is everyone enjoying all the movement? Can you identify which is Baby A and B? Since B is behind I don't feel him as much, but Baby A is going wild....it makes me feel so at ease when I feel them, like they are telling me hey I'm doing good mom

 Has anyone been involved in Baby Shower planning? 

I'm having one in January and one in the beginning of February. Haven't done much of anything besides hand over a list of addresses!

GTKY: Tell me what the weather is like where you live! It's been in the 30/40's all week.....I'm not gonna lie I was really hoping for some snow earlier in the week just so we could have a school closure or even a delay but no such luck.....just cold cold cold
