Final ultrasound today!

Went in for my 32 week ultrasound today (I am 32w5d). LO is measuring about 33w4d but they are not changing my due date. She weighs in at 4lb8oz. But heres the scary part...her head is measuring 35 weeks! She is head down and so low the tech was basically using the scan thing on my vag! she was shocked at how low she is already. They mentioned she may be early or just hang our there for the next 7 weeks. I have to admit sometimes it feels like she is going to push her arm out the pressure has been so great. She is super active and keeps me awake all the time with her kicks and jabs. I am so excited for her to be here but now scared of how big her head might be.

No real point just sharing how today went. But if anyone has similar experiences I would love to hear!

Glaf to see she is doing well. My DD dropped at 34w4d and came at 37 weeks. I totally get the pressure when they drop. I always felt like she was trying to escape.

My DD measured at least week ahead at all times and had a huge head (off the chart at birth!) my MFM kindly pointed out at one of our ultrasounds that it was a trait she obviously got from me!

When I was induced, her giant head was so low that per the OB they had to "reach around it" to check my cervix. Nothing. I still had to start from scratch even though she felt like she was going to fall out !

I was able to push her out without a single tear. My experience was a little different because I was induced a week early for GD related issues, but it was a good one!

My thought is that big heads= big smart brains!!

My LO dropped about 5/6 weeks ago, so I totally get the pressure! Sometimes I feel like he is going to fall out! Lol

I had a similar experience with DS - he was measuring consistently 2 weeks ahead every appt (starting around 29 weeks). He also had a huge head! LOL I ended up having to have an episiotomy with him b/c his head was too big to come out without tearing. But he hung out head down and SUPER LOW for weeks on end - and he only came 3 days early. Here's to hoping your LO stays in there for a good few more weeks!

At my OB appt today she checked my cervix. Cervix is still closed but she was shocked that she was right there when she felt for her. She wanted to put me on bed rest but then knew I cant use 7 weeks of my maternity leave sitting around at home. She told me to relax whenever I can and to keep my feet up.
