It always seems like I get really crappy low value coupons for things I actually use! What are your tricks and tips to saving enough money to cover the printer ink?? I really want to get better at this!

I'm not a couponer, but I save coupons I do use for when those things are on sale so that it goes further. No stores around me double coupon values, and I think that's key to being crazy good at it. I use a Safeway app and scour the digital coupons regularly to add to my card. I also double up on things that are on a good sale (or that I have a coupon for) as long as it won't go bad before I can use it.
