DH loooooves Gabriel Alexander and seems pretty stuck on it but its popularity gets to me, any suggestions on names that are similar in style but not so popular?

The only Gabriel I know here in the South is about 25 years old. But it may be more popular in your area.

Jonah Gabriel? He loves Gabriel so if i can use it as a middle name i wouldn't be opposed to it

Zebulon is a pretty cool but underused Biblical name. (Famous bearers include Zebulon Pike- the "mountain dude.")

Top fifty to me is popular. If i loved it enough it wouldn't bother me but I'm not in love with it. And I'm pretty sure it was somewhere in the thirties for 2012.

I definitely don't consider Gabriel popular.  However, I do love Jonah Gabriel.  I know several Jonahs and no Gabriels.  I also like Ezra.

PP's suggestions of Raphael and Zebulon are great too.

I know several Gabes, which are all Gabriels.  I love the name.  I also like Jonah.  They are all at least in their 30's so I really don't think it's that popular now.  I would go with it if you all love it.

I think Jonah Gabriel is lovely.

I also like PP's suggestion of Noah Gabriel. Although Noah is very popular where I live.
