I was a miserable angry person for days until I finally was successful going poo after I had my DD. When it finally happened I felt so much better but it was very painful. Not looking forward to that part of it! I am sorry! :(

Weird... I must be a freak I had no problems...

    Neither did I (after DS1).

First poop post-hemorroid surgery? Most terrifying five minutes of my life.

Not looking forward to it. Been getting colase with the degular pain meds. Hopefully that'll help. A good throat-clearing cough would be awesome right now. Just clearing my throat hurts.

After I had DS I swore I was never going to poop again (actually told the nurse that lol). Stool softener a helped a lot but it still sucked. I'm thinking its going to be a lot worst this time since my hemorrhoids are already miserable :(

As Ktrue suggested, I took colace and had no problems. My sister had me terrified because she couldn't go for days and colace didn't help. I thought I was going to birth a giant poo baby non-medicated lol

You should've had it surgically extracted

Did colace and fiber diet, but needing to take iron, Breastfeeding and always having this problem prior to pregnancy made it an issue. I was terrified that my LO would have same issue since as an infant I couldn't go. He's a pooping machine though, so we're all good.

Agreed.. The first week I dreaded coughing and sneezing. We r almost back to normal

Omg! Yesterday was my 1st post partum poop. And I sat on the toilet for two hours praying to God. The praying didn't work. So I drank some prune juice and a half hour after that my prayers had been answered. That was rough. I had been given Colace since I was admitted. I don't ever wanna poop like that again! Hope it's normal toilet sessions from here on out!

This question is 100% gross and TMI

What consistency should your PPpoopy be? Soft? Bulky?

Gluten free and high fiber don't really mesh unless it's raw veggies so I don't want to ruin anything down there...

I would think what it normally is supposed to be. Dr Oz told us to make a "sploosh" sound. No plop and not liquid. Haha. No question is tmi or gross to me. If people don't talk about these things, then we can't learn and avoid problems.

Hallelujah.... We did it! Okay, so I did it. Been having colace every day, and lots of water, and even ordered all manner of branniness for breakfast this morning. Not as traumatic as in the past or even the Zofran days!!

Phew! I really wasn't looking forward to it, and I didn't want to atart a whole new thread on my skillz. :\">
