*Weekly Workouts*

Hello to all and hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!  What are you workout plans for this week?

For fun:  Did you "turkey trot" or get a workout in on Thanksgiving?  How did you stay active over the 4 day weekend?

  • Sun:  ran 4 miles outside

    Mon:  45 min incline treadmill power-walk

    Tues:  30 min weights, 30 min incline power-walk

    Wed- run 3-4 miles

    Thurs- 30 min weights, 30 min incline power-walk

    Fri- Spin and Pump class (45 min spin, 15 min resistance training)

    Sat- Christmas tree foraging, decorating, and outside-light hanging with the fam :)

    For fun:  Nope, no turkey trot for me this year though typically I run a 10K.  I did go for a 3 mile walk with DH after dinner (and the kids were in bed).

    Having hoohah pains... So limiting workout this week. Plus, ovaries still enlarged from ivf :-w

    Monday: walked 2.5 miles
    Tuesday: 2 mi walk, upper body weight
    Wednesday: cardio training (light), balance exercises
    Thursday: sweat, sweat, sweat cardio.
    Friday: pampering, stretching
    Saturday: sleep
    Sunday: long walk

    No turkey trot. 5k december 20th :)
    Worked out mon-wednesday before turkey day. I felt good. And didn't overeat. What??? Yep :)

  • I need to jump on this bandwagon and get active again!! I just received the Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Project DVDs over the weekend, so I hope to try that out today.  I flaked yesterday and went to sleep at 8:30 because I was so tired.  Blehhh.  But here's my tentative plan:

    Tuesday: Tracy Anderson DVD
    Wednesday: Pregnancy yoga
    Thursday: Jog (I haven't run in 2 months, so I can't say how this will go or how far I'll run but I'm going to try for 2 miles)
    Friday: Tracy Anderson
    Saturday: rest
    Sunday: wildcard (we'll see which parts of me are most sore)
  • I'm planning on 2-3 Zumba classes plus a body combat (MMA style kickboxing). No more running for me, my doc was very specific about my heart rate staying under 150. I thought that was old info but its not worth the risk. Plus there is snow here now, I'm too fat for my winter running gear and I hate the treadmill. Looks like Zumba it is!

    Sun:  Ran 3 miles.  Walked to get a Christmas tree and carried the tree back home.
    Mon: Ran 3 miles
    Tues: walk 1 hour + leg exercises
    Wed: Run 3 miles + leg exercises
    Thursday: walk or run + leg exercises
    Friday:  travel day
    Sat: walk on beach in St. Thomas
    Sun: walk on beach in St. Thomas
    Mon: walk on beach in St. Thomas

    Turkey trot was great!  I ran with my friend and we ran much faster than I expected!
