Mine is kind of sad. I bought a tiny Barcelona (soccer) onesie 3 years ago when we started trying, I was going to give it to hubby when we got a BFP. After years of trying and having failed cycles we were about to give up and I found it and showed it to DH. We both cried.
So far I have a glider on lay away. I am so scared to start buying clothes because it's hard to find cute gender neutral stuff. The techs at my ultrasounds guessed boy (dating and anatomy scan) but I don't want to go clothes shopping on a guess lol. All you guys' stuff is soooo cute. I am praying that the guesses were right because I can't wait to buy my little man stuff!!!
Wellllll.. My parents came to visit us in FL from NC and they helped us set up the nursery. It's early on, but it was the only time they would be down here prior to the baby. We have to do my shower during the week of Christmas because that is the only time we will be in NC.. The 13 hour distance makes it hard- but oh my I love the nursery!!
I actually bought a swing first, but since it's not here I'll flash this. Bought it at Whole Foods. I've been eyeing it it months and it went on sale so I caved. I don't know why, but this little soft slate mushroom rattle with it's soft tinkling rattle makes me cry.
I haven't purchased anything yet. My mom is awesome and went nuts at the Carter's sale right after we found out its a boy. This is what she got. Grandma is cool!!!
Bought her crib in the 1st Tri couldn't resist the sale on clearance at Walmart for $30! We set it up last week and it is beautiful. Also have bought a swing, bouncy set, 2 toys, cloth diapers, mobile cover, valance, rug, carseat, pack and play, and all her first size of clothing. Most everything is second hand and as a third time mom I won't have a shower and like to feel very prepared so I'm impatiently awaiting all my Ebay boxes.
Babies R Us had summer clothes on sale for $2.88 a set.. We don't know gender yet so we bought 5 girl outfits and 5 boy. Will donate whatever we don't need... oh and we bought some books on sale at Big Lots for $3 each!
@katieharpiceland My MIL did the same thing just a few hours after we told her! lol
And my husband bought this before we even announced the pregnancy. I thought it was so sweet! It's the only thing we've bought so far, but I can't wait to start buying other things and registering!
I bought a blue moby wrap before we knew it was a boy. Lol but we won't buy anything or even register until 26w
